SPERM BANK: Virginia introduced herself as Dr. Higgins, but the nurse
didn't believe her, and called for another nurse to help her remove Virginia.
They told her that Dr. Higgins is 63, so Virginia claimed that she's had
extensive plastic surgery, which the two nurses bought.
Virginia got a password for the computer, but couldn't find Tyus' name in
the database until one of the nurses gave her the correct access code. Then
Virginia stole Tyus' sperm sample.
CEDAR OAKS: Fearing that someone she once knew would turn up, Tim
tried to keep "Dana" from going to Meg's bridal shower. He told her that it
would be unfair to Meg, because all that Meg would think about would be
her. As she said that the best thing she could do for Meg would be to not go
to the shower, Dr. Estrada arrived and asked why. "Dana" explained her
reasoning, and Dr. Estrada told her that it would hurt Meg to find out that
"Dana" didn't want to go to the party. "Dana" admitted that she wanted to
go, Dr. Estrada encouraged her to. Tim volunteered to drive her.
BEN'S HOUSE: Carmen arrived, and Ben tried to get her to leave. Meg
said that she invited Carmen over, taking Ben aside and explaining that she
didn't invite Carmen to the shower -- she asked her over to talk about
"Dana," in hopes that Carmen's psychic gifts could help them find "Dana's"
family. Ben tried to talk Meg out of her plan, saying it wouldn't be fair to
"Dana" or to Maria. Ben didn't think it was good to encourage Carmen to
use her psychic ability, which told her that Maria was still alive.
Carmen demanded to know why Meg asked her over, so Meg told her that
the only reason she asked her over was to apologize for not believing her
when she warned her against Derek. Carmen didn't believe her, but offered
to read the tarot cards for her as a wedding gift. Carmen told Meg that a
woman has come into Meg's life bringing trouble, and that their lives are
intertwined, and that they'll remain that way until they die.
Tim and Maria arrived, and he asked her to wait outside while he checked
out who had arrived for the party. Meg introduced Tim to Carmen.
Meanwhile, Maria got tired of waiting and rang the doorbell.
ST. JOSEPH'S: Antonio looked at his pocket watch and remembered
when Maria gave it to him for his college graduation. He lit a candle in the
memory of his sister.
Ben brought a check for the mission to Antonio. While they were talking,
Antonio explained to Ben that Maria and Carmen were very close, and her
insistence that Maria's still alive is just her way of keeping her close.
OUTSIDE: Sara realized Melinda was watching them and, indicating for
Casey to look to where Melinda was hiding, blasted him again.
TYUS'S SOUTH CENTRAL APARTMENT: Michael confronted Tyus
about the fact that he was in love with Vanessa. Before they could go into
the subject further, Vanessa interrupted. Tyus asked Vanessa to step
outside. While he explained the test that Michael will need to go through,
Vanessa ran into Mrs. Moreau, who warned her that someone that she
thinks is a friend isn't.
JAVA WEB: Melinda tried to convince Sara to take her up on her offer to
write a book about her experiences in Washington with her, but Sara
refused and left. Later, Sara called Melinda on her cell phone to apologize
for blowing up at her, explaining that she was really angry with Casey.
