"I Never Have" . . . "What if the recent murders triggered what was previously buried in her mind," Scully paused before elaborating further on her theory. "Some connection she'd unconsciously made that no one else had been able to make."
A look of extreme skepticism crossed Mulder's face. "You mean a hunch?" he asked incredulously.
"Yeah," Scully responded, "something like that."
He smiled, "that's a pretty extreme hunch."
She looked away briefly, speaking with a light, teasing note in her voice. "I seem to recall you having some pretty extreme hunches . . . "
Mulder's face broke out into a huge grin, "I never have" he turned to look at her and she found herself smiling as well.
