11/10/01

I added a link to Purple House Press on the main page as they finally have copies of The Mad Scientists' Club for Sale! They also have The New Adventures of the Mad Scientists' Club available for Pre-Order. This is one of my favorite series of all time. I received my copy already and the quality is great and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

I joined the Tom Swift web ring and finally got around to adding the code to the bottom of my Tom Swift page.

Did a little bit of house cleaning and decided to get rid of a pile of accumulated junk. Check out my trade page for a whole pile of video game related junk I have to trade a way.

5/9/00

Did a bit of cleaning around here. Fixed some links, deleted a bunch that had vanished. Got rid of most of those pesky ad banners and added a banner for the "Doctor Who DVD Now" web site. I want Doctor Who to be released on DVD and so should you! Move on over to their web site and find out what's up. There are still a few links left to fix, but things are looking better already.

9/6/99

With a newer, faster computer and modem (14.4 to a 56k, yeah!) I've decided to do some more work on my web page. Added VB40032.dll for those who wish to use Stella-Graph and don't already have the file. Noticed the linked file for Stella-Graph wasn't even on the server. How long has that been missing? Fixed that and did a couple of other changes around here.

9/21/98

After grfn.org went from being a freenet to a shell account internet provider and started charging, I'm forced to move my email to cpepin1@hotmail.com and my webpage to http://www.oocities.org/TelevisionCity/Stage/6058

With a much larger amount of space for my web site, I'll be able to add some cool stuff to my pages. In the meantime, please bear with me as I finish moving things over from my old site, fix links, add new content, etc.

5/7/98

12/25/97

I've been swamped lately so I haven't had much time to update my web page, but I do have a neat Christmas treat for you. I've just uploaded V3.0 of my Maniac Mansion FAQ for the NES. It's got some neat new info on the UK and Famicom versions of the game. Hopefully, I be able to start updating more regularly from now on.

10/27/97

10/26/97

I now have scans of all the Tom Swift series three paperbacks available on my page. I've also added a few more scans here and there on my Tom Swift Sr. and Tom Swift Jr. pages. I've also rewritten a couple of small sections to make them a bit more understandable.

10/25/97

I've fixed some dates I had mistyped for a couple of the Tom Swift Jr. books. I've also added a scan of the UK/Australian edition of "Tom Swift and His Cosmotron Express". I've also did a little bit of reformatting here and there to make things a little more readable. "Tom Swift and His Motor Cycle" is now available in electronic form from Softdisk's web site. There is a link to it on my Tom Swift Sr. page.

10/16/97

I forgot to mention that the scan that's at the top of my Tom Swift page is from the binding of the UK editions of Tom Swift Jr.. That's why there isn't a number on it. Also, if you go to the main page of The Forgotten Archives, you can check out a really neat scan of Tom Swift Sr. in his diving suit that I scanned in from the binding of "Tom Swift and His Giant Telescope." I also added a link to The Unofficial Stratemeyer Syndicate Home Page. You'll find it on my Link-O-Tron.

10/15/97

10/14/97

Sorry about the long delay since the last update but things have been a bit hectic. Anyway, my book trade and want list are updated. You can get to them from my Tom Swift page. For you Atari 2600 fans, I've updated Stella-Graph to V1.1. Download it now! :-) The Link-O-Tron has also been updated with a few new links. I've added a whole bunch of things to my Tom Swift pages. There are quite a few new scans, including a couple of the UK editions of Tom Swift Jr. #26 and #27. Both of the Tom Swift Sr. Better Little Books have scans as well. Most of the Tom Swift Jr. paperbacks are scanned in. I also have a scan of the Tom Swift series 3 boxed set. Whew! Anyway, there's lots of new stuff, so wander around and take a look. Enjoy!

9/2/97

I removed some books from my trade list that I've traded and added a couple of Danny Dunn books to the list.

8/20/97

I've added a whole pile of books to my trade list. I also added a link on my Tom Swift Jr. page that leads to an interview with one of the people who wrote some of the Tom Swift Jr. books. I also added a link to the zip file for Tom Swift in the Land of Wonders. I seemed to have missed adding it for some strange reason.

8/17/97

I've added links to a couple of really nice pages devoted to the Rick Brant and the Ken Holt books respectively. You'll find them on the Link-O-Tron. Enjoy!

8/10/97

I've added several Tom Swift books, along with several other books, to my trade list. I've also updated my want list as well. Information on a cover variation of the Tom Swift IV paperbacks has been added to the Tom Swift series IV page.

I've updated my Tom Swift pages with some new info, so you might want to take a look. I've also added a pile of books to my want list. If you've been drooling over some of the books on my trade list, here's your chance to grab them before someone else does if you happen to have some of the books I'm looking for. :-)

I've updated my book trade list with another huge pile of books. There are also several new Tom Swift books on the list in case you are interested.

7/2/97

Project Gutenberg surprised me my releasing several more Tom Swift Sr books as electronic text files. You'll find links to them on my Tom Swift Sr. Page. I've also added some more info to my Tom Swift Jr. and Sr. pages.

6/28/97

Tom Ippolito finally emailed me and, after a lengthy discusion, we really didn't get much accomplished. He apparently is unwilling to admit that he has ever, at any time, borrowed stuff from my page. He also threatened to sue me for slandering him. I asked him to, at the very least, apologize for borrowing my text. He refused. I actually feel sorry for him in a way. Since he did remove the text he borrowed from my page, I'm willing to let it go at that. As long as he doesn't borrow any more of my stuff, I think I'll just do my best to ignore him. People who are unwilling to admit their mistakes just aren't worth talking to.

6/22/97

I added a Nancy Drew book, some Hardy Boys books, and a couple of other books to my trade list. I also updated my want list with a few new books I'm looking for.

6/19/97

I did a little bit of reformatting and added a Cherry Ames book to my book trade list. I also fixed a few errors on my Tom Swift Sr. page and added some new info to it as well.

6/16/97

I'm back from my vacation and I've just added a small pile of Tom Swift books to my trade list. I've also added a small pile of other children's books to my list as well. Brains Benton, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, etc.

6/7/97

I'll be out of town for a week. I won't be able to answer any email until I get back. So don't think I'm ignoring you. :-)

6/2/97

I've added a small stack of books to my trade list. I've also updated the Link-O-Tron. One of the links is to the South Jersey Series Collectors. I've been meaning to link to their page for a while now. They're the ones I got the scan of the edge of the binding of Tom Swift and His Flying Lab that I have on my main Tom Swift page from. Be sure to check out their site. It's pretty good.

I've also updated my Tom Swift III page with some new information.

5/31/97

I've added some new info to my Tom Swift Series III page.

5/30/97

Ugh! Something happened to our webserver so nobody could access my page for a day or so. But, it appears to be fixed now. :-) Frank Palazzolo was nice enough to compile Stella-Graph for me. I've added the exe file to the zipped archive.

5/29/97

Stella-Graph V1.0 is now available. This is a program I whipped up for Visual Basic 4 for Win95 that will help you to create playfield graphics if you wish to program the Atari 2600. Download it now. :-)

5/28/97

I've added a couple of links to my Link-o-Tron.

5/20/97

I've added a whole pile of books to my trade list. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, all sorts of good stuff. Trade me some Tom Swift books for them. Please, I'm begging you. :-)

5/19/97

I've added several Tom Swift books to my trade list.

5/13/97

I've done some major updating to all of my Tom Swift pages. Check them out if you're interested.

5/12/97

Tom Ippolito never emailed me back, but he did remove or change most of the text he borrowed, but there is still a little bit here and there. It's much better than it was but he still needs to do some work on his page.

Anyway, enough of that. I've updated my Tom Swift Jr. page and added a scan I made of the interior picture. It's pretty neat in my opinion. I've been using it as my wallpaper in windows.

Now that I have some free time, hopefully I'll be able to update both my Tom Swift pages and my video game pages more often. I would also like to add some pages on some of my other favorite book series as well.

5/9/97

Well, it seems that Tom Ippolito (raven43@ix.netcom.com) has decided to rip off my Tom Swift page and several others peoples pages as well. Not only did he steal some of my text, he also decided he liked the way my page looked and put yellow text on a starfield background. Really, he could have been at least a little more original. He did use his own starfield instead of swiping mine, but it's still pretty lame that he had to copy me instead of coming up with his own original design scheme. I'm not the only one he ripped off as I noticed text and stuff from several other Tom Swift pages on his site. His page is at

http://pw2.netcom.com/~raven43/pers2.htm

I've emailed him and hopefully he will remove the stuff he borrowed, but I haven't received a response from him yet. I'll post here when I find out more. Really, for someone who likes Tom Swift books, he's acting just like one of those Brungarian spies who were always messing with Swift Enterprises. :-)

5/3/97

I've finally gotten around to adding the rest of the pile of non-tom swift books to my trade list. Please, trade me some Tom Swift books for some of them so I don't have to look at them anymore. :-)

4/30/97

I've updated my Tom Swift trade list with a bunch of Hardy Boys Books plus a handful of other non-tom swift books.

4/18/97

I've updated my Tom Swift trade list with 1 new Tom Swift book and a whole bunch of non-Tom Swift books.

4/6/97

I've updated my Tom Swift trade list. I've got more than just Tom Swift books for trade, so check it out.

4/2/97

I finally got around to scanning a 4th series Tom Swift book as well as "Tom Swift and His Big Tunnel" from the first series.

4/1/97

I added another link to the electronic text version of "Tom Swift in the Land of Wonders" on my Tom Swift Sr. page. I also added the Classic Video Game Nexus to the Link-o-Tron.

3/30/97

I've updated my Maniac Mansion (NES) FAQ. I've added a whole bunch of new info. So much, in fact, that I bumped it up a whole version number from 1.0 to 2.0. I've also changed the scan I had on my Tom Swift Jr. page with a scan of "Tom Swift and His Outpost In Space". I figured a little variety now and then would be nice.

3/9/97

I've updated my Atari 2600 Fun Facts and Info Guide. I've added a whole bunch of new info to it, so check it out.

2/21/97

I've added my Link-O-Tron page. Now you can travel to some of my favorite sites.

2/17/97

I've updated my Atari 2600 Fun Facts and Info Guide. I've also added a "What's new?" section. :-)
