Your TV is infected with The Millennium Bug Zoe Tay’s last blockbuster in the 20th century, The Millennium Bug is currently shown on TCS 8, Monday to Thursday, 7pm. The co-stars of the show include Zoe’s best friend, Chen Hanwei, Channel 5 Ah Ge, James Lye and newcomer, Samantha Toh. Zoe’s role in the show is a big challenge for her. She needs to cry with no tears as the role is one who is born with no tear gland (lachrymal). Don’t miss the highlight of the show, that is a beautiful diving scene featuring Zoe, Hanwei and James. There will also be a lot of actions, bombing scenes in the show. Do ensure that you are glued to the television on weekdays at 7pm from 29 Nov 99 to 31 Dec 99. |

Zoe and her best friend Hanwei are singing the theme song for their newest show, The Millennium Bugs. It is a very romantic song, entitled Èç¹ûÖÇ»ÛÄÜǨÒÆ. The MTV of this song is shown at the end of each episode of the show. Besides this song, there are 3 other songs, including one English song sang by Zoe and James, Zoe solo and Hanwei solo. These songs can be found in The Millennium Bug soundtrack album which is releasing this month. |

The first issue of I-Weekly cover featuring Zoe Tay and Ann Kok was voted as the all time favourite cover. Catch Zoe in Star Awards ‘99!
Congratulations to Zoe! She is nominated for the Best Actress award for her role, Pian Pian in Lost Soul in Star Awards ‘99. Her opponents include Cynthia Koh (Stepping Out), Ivy Lee (Stepping Out), Huang Biren (From the Courtroom) and Fann Wong (Out toWin). Zoe’s song ôæôæÈëÃÎ, the theme song for Lost Soul also gets a nomination in the Best Serial Show Theme Song award. Zoe is also nominated for the 10 Most Popular Female Artistes and Most Popular TCS Female Artiste in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Zoe is busy with TCS’s Year 2000 blockbuster, Family Matters (Jia Shi). Initially, Xie Shaoguang was assigned to act as Zoe’s husband. Somehow, Xie decided to drop out and this meaty role was finally given to the best newcomer of the year, Tay Ping Hui after considering Li Nanxing, Terrence Cao and Rayson Tan. Tay Ping Hui’s performance in Stepping Out was impressive and it has earned him a best supporting actor nomination in this year’s Star Awards. Everybody is looking forward to his performance with Zoe. Other stars in the show include Singapore Star Search ’99 Winner, Nick Shen and Evelyn Tan. This is also Xiang Yun’s last show before she retires from the entertainment circle. |
