"MY GIRL"
Lucky:Wanna know what I made for dinner?
Liz: You cooked?
Lucky: Yeah.
Liz: A whole meal??
Lucky: So.
Liz: What’re we having?
Lucky: I’ll be right back….Ummm, this is ok with you right? I mean I know I didn’t ask you..
Liz: Lucky, there’s no place in the entire world I’d rather be.
Lucky: Damn good answer.
Lucky: You think you’ve changed?
Liz: Oh yeah.
Lucky: How?
Liz: Well, I’m more careful. I take things more seriously. But when I do have fun, I enjoy myself more than ever. You ?
Lucky: I don’t know. I think the biggest change is when I’m around you.
Liz: And what is that?
Lucky: I’m happy.
Liz: I know. I always feel protected when you’re around.
Lucky: I’m glad. You know, it’s strange, but, when I’m with you I feel the same way.
Liz: Protected?
Lucky: I told you it was strange. (they both laugh) I don’t mean that you would beat somebody up if they got on my case. Although I’ve seen you mad and don’t doubt that you could. It’s just that I grew up on the run. I guess what I’m trying to say is I finally feel safe with you.
Liz: You have no idea how much that means to me. To hear you say that
Lucky: Yeah, maybe I’m on a roll then. I have a confession to make.
Liz: Ok.
Lucky: See..something’s been rolling around in my head and I can’t ignore it anymore. It’s impossible for me to imagine wanting to be with anyone else. I was kinda hoping maybe you’d consider being my girl, officially.
Liz: Lucky, I already am.
Lucky: Then that’s a yes?
Liz: (smiling uncontrollably, nodding her head) Yes!
(Lucky gets up and reaches his hand out to her)
Liz: What’re we doing?
Lucky: Dancing.
Liz: Lucky, there’s no music.
Lucky: Wait, wait. You hear that?
Liz: No.
Lucky: Shh….listen. There it is. (he starts to sing!!) I’ve got sunshine…you hear it? Liz: Yeah. (they start dancing)
Lucky: (continues singing) …on a cloudy day. When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May. I’d guess you’d say, what can make me feel this way? My girl….talking bout my girl…..My girl…Mmmm.
"STAR LIGHT, STAR BRIGHT"
| Lucky: "You cold?" Liz: "No. I love this -- when everything is sprinkled with fresh snow. It is like the world is immaculate. And the stars -- look at them {looks up at the sky} Isn't it great?" Lucky: {looking at Elizabeth} "Beautiful." Lizzie: "Yeah. It really is beautiful. You know I never thought I would say this again. But I do. I do." {Lucky walks up to Elizabeth and they kiss} |

| Lucky: "Oh, I missed you so much." Liz: "I missed you too." Lucky: " Let me look at you. Wow. Damn, you look beautiful. I guess this spa thing agrees with you." Liz: "It was heaven." |

Liz: "Here. It's your first Christmas present." Lucky: " When did you have time to buy this? You never left my sight." Liz: "In Florida. I made it with my very own hands. Come on and open it." Lucky: "This is incredible." Liz: "It's us." Lucky: "This is perfect. This is perfect." {Lucky puts it on the tree} |

Lucky: "Your right. This is definitely us." Liz: "Ok, time to turn on the lights." Lucky: "Your ready?? Ok here we go." {Lucky and Lizzie cuddle with one another and admire the lights} Liz: "Our first Christmas." Lucky: "Our first." |

Liz: "Yeh I do love our tree. But there is still just something missing."
Lucky: "What?"
Liz: "Oh, funny you should ask. Look. I made them myself."
Lucky: "You knit?"
Liz: "Well not exactly. Sarah use to and shr tried to each me once, and I sorta of remember how to do the but the rest of it I kind of made up as I go."
Lucky: "I never saw stockings with fingers before? Where should we hand them?"
Liz: "Oh, I was thinking — what about here?"
Lucky: "Well, I king a like this better, right there."
Liz: Kinda like they are not happy unless they are close together?"
Lucky: "Mm-hmm — kinda like that."
"YOUNG LOVE"
Lucky: "I got something for you too. But it’s nothing like this."
Liz: "Ooohh, I love Christmas!!! Here." (she takes the painting and puts it on Lucky’s bed).
Lucky: "Ok, now, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to keep it, we can get another one..."
Liz: "Oh, Lucky, can I just please have my present! (totally excited and full of energy with a HUGE smile on her face) (he hands it to her) Thank you. (she opens the box and sees the jewelry box inside, she throws the package wrapping on the bed and opens the jewelry box)"

Lucky: "I know it seems simple, that’s what i like about it. I told the guy at the jewelry shop that it’s for simply the most beautiful girl in the world." Liz: "Lucky, it’s perfect." Liz: "How could you think for a second that I wouldn’t love this?? (she removes the ring from the box) This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever owned." Lucky: "I know we agreed not to see other people a while back, I just wanted to make it official. I wanted you to have something you could wear that tells you that we belong together. Something you can look at anytime day or night that reminds you how much you’ve changed my life...and how much I love you." |

Lucky: "I know. You don’t have to say it back. I mean, you don’t even have to love me back. I mean you can consider this just an ordinary best friends ring, um, I just thought you oughta know."
Liz: "Lucky, I thought you already knew. I am in love with you, I have been all along."
Lucky: "You just said you love me."
Liz: "I do. I’ve been wanting to tell you for a long time..I just didn’t know how."
Lucky: "Me too. (he moves closer and rubs his hand against her cheek) I love you."
Liz: "I love you too." (he takes the ring and puts it on her finger and then holds her hands)
Lucky: "I want you to know something, so you’ll never have to question it. There will never be another girl for me. Never."
Liz: "Do you remember when we first met? And you said your name’s Lucky..."
Lucky: "And you said “we’ll see”"
Liz: "Well it turns out I’m the one who’s Lucky."
