EDITORIAL
by DEV IN CALIFORNIA

Well, I hope you all enjoyed yesterday's "BLAST FROM THE PAST". I thought everyone would like reading the first Top 10 lists that ARCY IV ever posted on this board. They sure bring back memories for me. What about you?

Speaking of ARCY, he wasn't able to post THE ARCY PRESS for yesterday. Do I know what happened no, but we are working hard to find out. I would assume that something big came up that prevented him from posting it. DION also appears to be missing, but he did say he wanted to quit THE MM CHRONAPRESS so perhaps he left the board. I donot know?

One more item, sad news about Phil Hartman, he was very funny.

DEEP THOUGHTS!
+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+

Remember that episode with Ann Turkel, the woman in GOLIATH, where they ripped KITT's cpu out and Bonnie stuck him in a portable TV? Well, from that episode we can surmise that "the essense of KITT" (his main cpu) can be removed from the Trans Am, and both the cpu and car can function independently. Without a cpu, the car had no sentience (sp?). It was no longer "alive". Someone could have made a new cpu and placed it into the Trans Am body.

Now, in Trust Doesn't Rust, the first KARR ep, Devon, talking about KARR, says that KITT is a DUPLICATE car, except for the programming about preserving human life. Now, that programming would have to have been in KITT's cpu, which was successfully removed from the Knight 2000 body.

This is why Devon and Bonnie's explanation for why they had to make another car doesn't make sense. All they would have had to do to change KARR is trash the bad cpu, if in fact KITT was made EXACTLY the same way as KARR!

I suppose to make it all fit, you could say that KARR knew something when he kept saying KITT was "an inferior line production model". Perhaps KARR's cpu was more closely integrated with the Trans Am than KITT was. Or not.
