Transformers Armada is the latest in the line of Transformers. Optimus Prime and his Autobots are fighting with Megatron and his Decepticons over a race of robots called the Mini-Cons. The side who wins is the side who collects the most Mini-Cons.
Three kids, Alexis, Rad, and Carlos find three of the Mini-Cons which make up the Street Action Team. Grindor, Highwire and Sureshock are a gesalt mini-con team that form the robot Perceptor.
The Mini-Cons are a peaceful race of robots, uninterested in fighting, the Autobots treat the Mini-Cons as equals while Megatron and the Decepticons use these poor robots to increase their powers.
