This page is dedicated to the loving memory of one of my most favourite characters in this saga of Transformers history: Optimus Primal. He went down fighting trying to liberate the rest of Cybertron.

Optimus lead his minions to victory during the Beast Wars but upon their arrival back home they had no memory of how they got back to Cybertron or what they were doing when they went off-line?

Now let's take this opportunity to look back and reflect on Optimus Primal, the valiant leader of the Maximals and all of his various incarnations.

"He's with us Rattrap. As long as Cybertron is alive, Optimus lives on, in both in our hearts and in our memories. As will Megatron, who also played a vital role in the grand scheme, the vision of the Oracle has come to pass. Optimus has finally achieved his mission!"

Optimus Primal has now joined the Matrix and has found himself at peace. He fell during the final battle with a newly formed Megatron. He recited something that was from his heart. It went something like this:

"We must seek the balance Megatron, not only between the organic and the technological, but the balance between eternal enemies....BETWEEN YOU AND I!"
