Transformers: The Movie

Before the advent of Maximal and Predacon, 4 million years, there was a secret war that was waged between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Little did the Autobots know that their ancestors the Maximals would rise up and start another war.

Arcee is the lone female Autobot. She is introduced in the Transformers movie as a new character. She and the Triple Changer Springer are an item even though Springer doesn't always realize that she's online.

Transformers: The Movie was released in 1986 and was re-released in 1995. TF:TM introduced a few new characters as well as some old favourites.

The Autobots that died in the Cybertronian wars were many but included:

Brawn: killed by one shot from Megatron
Prowl: killed with one shot from the Constructicons
Ratchet: killed with two shots from Megatron
Ironhide:killed with two shots from Megatron
Wheeljack: killed while defending Autobot City
Windcharger: also killed while defending Autobot City
Optimus Prime: killed after he was mortally wounded by Megatron

There were many new Decepticon characters in the movie as well. They included:

Cyclonous and his "Armada"
Scourge and the Sweeps
Galvatron: a reincarnated version of Megatron.

The only Decepticon that was killed in the Cybertronian War was Starscream. He was killed after he betrayed Megatron and tried to resume leadership.
