SNAKE (Stefan Brogren)

 

Snake was a great man, a great, great man.

Was and always will be the king of Degrassi, (next to Wheels Of course). Things were always happening when Snake was around, not necessarily good things, but they happened…it was cool. It was always Joey wants to do something and Wheels agrees right away while Snake (the supposed loser of the group) would have to be convinced. Of course, it would turn out that they get into trouble for it. So everytime, Snake was right. That's just how it is. Snake was cool for a few episodes though, if my memory serves me correctly. I believe he was playing basketball with Shane, BLT, Luke, and Simon, and he was being mean to Joey. Joeywas trying to get their song on cra-z radio, Snake made fun. Some hilights of Snakes days were:

 

    1. Asking out and dating Melanie
    2. Finding out his brother is gay
    3. Stealing his parents car for Wheels
    4. Performing live at the Graduation Dance!
    5. Shooting A Video For "Everybody Wants Something"
    6. Playing guitar for Stephanie K's campaign.
    7. Taking Michelle to the movies.

    8. Helping Wheels see that everything was his own fault, not his, Joey's, or Wheels' grandma's.
    9. Taking Michelle to the semi-formal.
    10. Getting a job as a life- guard.
    11. Getting his driver's license.

 

Snake's favorite band was the gourmet scum, and the Zits of course. I seem to recall one episode where he had to build up his guts to ask out beautiful Melanie, the hot chick. After Degrassi High finished with Schools Out! Stefan Brogren starred in one of the many Degrassi Talks video's. He did a great job. Stefan Brogen splits his time between L.A. and Toronto, still persuing an acting career. He can be seen in a furnace commercial, he is in a sewer under a manhole, watch for it. He can also be seen in the Scratching Post video for "Rock Past It". Not only is Snake in the video, but the song is pretty good too. Stefan Brogren has also written an article for a magazine called trip-mag. It is a great article and he talks about why canadian actors never make it big, which is true. He talks much about his Degrassi days and about someone stalking Sara Ballingall (Melanie). It is a great article, read it at http://www.trip-mag.com
