Annette Bjergfeldt

Danish singer-songwriter Annette Bjergfeldt, is a two-time grammy nominee for Best Female Vocalist and Best New Name. Her music is stylistically related to the work of such artists as Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, and Joan Osborne. Annette has collaborated with songwriters like Kevin Welch and Boo Hewerdine (Footsteps Fall performed by UK grammy winning artist Eddie Reader) and Ivan Pedersen (DK). Her strong songwriting talents has led to a publishing deal with BUG Music. Artists such as Ian Matthew and Eddie Reader cover her songs.

First venturing beyond the borders beyond her native Denmark in 1996, Annette made her mark as a solo performer through international showcase appearances, from Dublin (In the City), London (London Music Week) to Cannes. Her recent U.S. Tour found Annette opening for notable artists ranging from Ellis Paul, Kevin Welch, and David Wilcox to Steve Gillette, Dougie McClean and David Olney, and has appeared in many festival mainstages from Napa Valley, California to Kerrville, Texas. Annette has also received steady airplay in the U.S. and is gaining heavy rotation on key stations like WUMB Boston. The Santa Fe New Mexican says Annette is, "A sure bet to go far on this side of the Atlantic."
