"My 'My Testimony' is not nearly as good as most of the other 'My Testimonies' that are out there. I was not rescued half-dead from a life of drug abuse and debauchery and crime. Don't expect a rags to riches story. The rags aren't all that raggedy, and there are no riches to speak of yet. So let me just touch on a few simple facts about me.

I'm a security officer who drives a rusty but faithful hatchback from his home in Delaware, OH to his gatehouse at Ross Products in downtown Columbus, OH. I have a two-year degree in Environmental Safety Management from Kent State University, but the thing I learned there that really prepared me for putting a comic strip up on the Internet is how to use the Internet itself.

My mama bought me a computer for a graduation present in the spring of 1997, and passed away 2½ years later, and I'm still pounding on that Compaq after nearly six years, unable to afford anything better. I electronically cobble together each page of Wild Angels mostly on Adobe Photo Deluxe, even though I also have Photoshop 5.0. I'm still learning my way around Photoshop. I really know my Photo Deluxe, so I can work quite quickly if I wanted to. Not only that, but putting backgrounds behind my characters becomes an exercise in creative problem solving. How do I draw something that looks good, appropriate to the setting, and at the same time is fast and easy?"
