My Monroeville Review!
From the center of the madness....
I was lucky enough to be a part of a major Hanson event. It was the first time in nearly TWO years that I got to lay my eyes on Isaac, Taylor, and Zac -- And BOY what a sight! Here is my little review, Pics are at the bottom :)
Well, I left Harrisburg, PA at 2am, on a bus. Everyone was looing at me weird 'cos I was adorned in Hanson stuff! I arrived in Pittsburgh at 6am. I then took a cab to the Monroeville Mall (a 26 DOLLAR cab ride btw!) When I got there it was like 6:30am, already the line was almost to the door :( I learned the line was for the autograph signing which would happen at 11:30am -- six hours away!
I made friends with some people around me and we all took turns saving our place in line as we shopped and investigated things. We learned Hanson would PERFORM at 11:30. They left all the fans with a tough choice, leave the line to get a good place by the stage, or stay in line to get an autorgaph. One of the girls I was standing with came with her aunt, her aunt said she'd go to the concert and tape it and send us each a copy.(KOOL! and it turned out great!) we figured this would work cos when the ppl left the line to go to the concert we could move up -- and we did!!!
By almost 11:30 we were at a place in the line that was right in front of the stage! Then.... HANSON CAME OUT!!!!! Taylor was wearing a leather jacket and a white shirt underneath (of course the jacket came off later to reveal the white shirt!) Ike was wearing red pants and a brown spotted shirt. I think zac was in all black. By the time the little "concert" was over (they never sang) we were at a place in the line that was right in front of the AUTOGRAPH TABLE!! This is the best part of the story....
First I saw zac walking tward me waving.. I was like AHH! Then came Tay!!!! He was walking in my direction, as he got closer my screams got louder! Finally he was about FOUR FEET from me! Then he waved and said HI!!!!! we were all like HI!!!! Then he SMILED AT ME!!!!!! he is soo freaking HOT!! He's HUGE!!!!!!! I couldn't belive how HOT Ike was either!!!! His skin looks sooo soft!
Ok, after all this and about a million pics, then the trouble began :( yes, the screaming, pushing, and hitting. It was horrible. I couldn't breath, several girls fell down, some were taken to the hospital. After about a half hour of this IKE, TAY, and ZAC stood up on their chairs, waved, then left :( it was soo sad :( only about 20 ppl got autographs and those ppl were the ones that pushed. It was so unfair. Everyone was crying (including me) it must have been a sight to see all these people crying in a major mall! It was sooo loud too, and there were still people trapped in the sea of people. I managed to get out ALIVE!! lol :) and my pics turned out great!!!
Have you ever seen Tay wave then do his little smile on TV? well, on Feb 26th at 12pm I GOT THE LIVE SHOW, FOUR FEET FROM ME!!!!!!!! AHH!!!!
