Unexpected Sadness | ||||||||
Sadness Of a depth Unknown to me before. Shock, Anxiety, And fear, Swarming around me In a hurricane of emotions. Blue skys, no clouds, How can the world look so perfect When everything is so wrong? Tears filling my eyes Surprising isn't it? I never thought It would come to this. Reliving that moment Over and over in my head So many things suggested to this. Why didn't I relieze That today was the begining of the end. Why didn't I see it coming. How blind was I to the wisps of smoke From the fire of warning. How deaf to the song Of the bird of dread. Maybe tomorrow A new ray of hope Will find my broken soul And begin to heal the wounds Made by such simple words And will bring me back To the ways of the real world. |
