Rhine Farm auction - after 101 years in the family.
The 86-acre farm fetched $185K, 12-acres of mountain land got $36K.
Both were bought by Jay "Ed" McNair, whose father owns an adjoining farm.
The contents went for $63.8K, including the car and tractor below.




The Model A brought $9900; the John Deere brought $1550.



Gramma is to left of one pole; Gretchen is to left of the chimney.
Many little things went for hundreds of dollars.
Uncle Jake's cane was bought by his friend "Mike the Amishman".



The cider press went for $175.



With two auctioneers at a time, everything was sold in 9-10 hours.
