March 1999 - Victoria is diagnosed with ADD/ADHD

March 2000 - José is diagnosed with ADD/ADHD

September 4th, 2000 - José discovers “The Blindspot” and coins the term “The Starchild” to describe Victoria G., the original AH

June 28th, 2001 - Rebbie writes “The Awakening”, in which she describes what she believes to be her “Hunter” nature (despite the fact she had not read Hartmann’s book). In order to describe her and others, José coins the term “Gatherer” - as an analogue of Hartmann’s “Hunter” - thus marking the birth of VG/AH Theory

July 18th, 2001 - Tired of the lame internet acronym LOL, José coins SWF (“Snot Went Flying”)

August 22nd, 2001 - José realizes that Vanessa N. is a Gatherer and not a “Farmer”

January 30th, 2002 - Rebbie formulates the definition of “AH”

May 20th, 2002 - José posts a series of essays - at ToT - announcing VG/AH Theory and the existence of the “Gatherer”. From several entrenched ToTers, these are met by hostility and poor reviews, except for Connector, who immediately embraces his status as a “Gatherer”

June 27th, 2002 - To honor Connector (a self-proclaimed “VSL”) and so that the initials of Victoria’s pseudonym become V.G.A.H., José coins the dimensionless acronyms “VG” and “AH” to replace “Gatherer” and “Hunter”, respectively

July 22nd, 2002 - José discovers Leif’s “Neanderthal Theory of Autism” and immediately realizes he’s discovered an important missing piece of VG/AH Theory

December 15th, 2003 - Rebbie finally posts her long-awaited (we’re talking months) “Contextual Parentheses” essay, in which she describes the anomalous manner by which extreme VGs experience time, at The VG/AH Theory Discussion Group

August 14th, 2004 - Based on Rebbie’s description of the difference in writing styles and “Pronoun Hell”, José’s description of the differences in the types of dyslexia, Redstar’s description of differences in GPs and reformulation of the MBTI temperaments according to the VG/AH schema, Ric (“The Oracle”) formulates a wide-sweeping and all-encompassing definition of the difference between VG and AH, at The VG/AH Theory Discussion Group
