THE CHAMPION
As a champion all dressed in white
A dashing young warrior, riding in the night
Astride a white stallion, galloping forth
In search of warriors to join His force
He's already victorious, riding so free
He's asking "Do you want to ride with me?"
A part of the victor's army, He wants you to be
with Him you'll be riding, amidst shouts of victory
He's beaten the dragon, set him underfoot
He calls us to go over, and give that ol' dragon the boot
He's given us all authority over princes & powers
As long as we ride with Him, victory is ours!
The power of His sword, the greatness of His name
All the earth enthrones Him, His praises we proclaim
The dashing young warrior, riding in the night
He's calling. Are you willing? To stand with Him and fight.
The darkness is all around, the devil, he is near
But as long as we're by His side, we have nothing to fear
Jesus the mighty warrior, clothed in robes of white
His glory shines throughout the earth, piercing the dark of night
Rise up oh men of valour, children of promise and light
Take up your swords and armour.. and join Him in the fight
Take up your positions, let out your shout of war
The Lord your God is with you! Kick that dragon out the door!
Covered by the blood of the Lamb, victory is yours!
Raise your swords with a shout of praise! Mighty is our Lord!!
Born to be victors, made mighty through God
