Take up your cross

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

You took up your cross because you had been branded by the world as a criminal and you

There was only one time you picked up your cross and that was when you were carrying it up to be crucified on.

In the very near future, you will have to make that decision. For there will be many condemned that do not worship Antichrist. Many will be called outcast. It will mostly be spiritual, but spiritual persecution sometimes can be some of the roughest persecution there is.

Excepting Christ is not as light as many would take it. Most believe that getting saved is sufficient. They go their merry way believing that they made their commitment to Christ.

There is no way you can follow Him, without first, picking up your cross, and then making a commitment to Jesus Christ. There is no way you can follow Him in this earth, with its perverseness and its wickedness, and we as sinners in it, without making that commitment.

Otherwise, your just playing CHURCH. Your playing CHRISTIAN, your very shallow, you have no commitment, and you have no depth.

Your commitment to Christ, must come before your family, its got to come before your loved ones. The decision must be made.

When the day comes that Antichrist steps foot on this earth, that is when that commitment becomes ever so important to you. Because you've got to make that STAND against the false one. (Antichrist)

You better understand the teachings of Jesus concerning this. Because what is involved is, number one, the un-forgivable sin, if you don't carry forth the commitment that you have made to Jesus Christ. So when you make it, you make it with all sincerity, you make it with all clarity. Let there be no mistakes in your mind, that you intend to follow THE CHRIST, all the way to Calvary. All the way to the END of this earth age. Regardless of what people might say or think about you.

What about Jesus ? They cursed Him, they spat on Him, they put a crown of thorns on His head and the blood trickled down His forehead. They slurred and persecuted Him publicly. And He did not waver. Because He had made a commitment. That commitment to Him meant something.

So, when you hear the term: Take up your cross and follow me. Make sure that you know what your walking into.

For he or she that makes that commitment, steps on a solid foundation, because there is no longer doubt in your life.

Not swaying like a reed in the wind, but you become as John in the spirit of Elijah. Your not blowing this way for five minutes and then whip back like a reed in the wind to some other vain doctrine of tradition. But you are solid and committed signed and sealed in Jesus Christ, who carried His cross. And you become a can do type person. That carries your own cross and you don't expect someone else to carry it for you.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate ( love less) not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Luke 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

Luke 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

When you make that commitment, to bear your cross, make sure that your faith in the LORD is strong. And your foundation that you have built on is from studying the word, and from understanding the teachings of Christ, which is the TRUTH. Not mans words and traditions.

If you believe in Christ, you know that when you pick your cross up that it sets the example that will bring many to Christ. Because they see strength and power in you. When you take this WORD (the cross) on your shoulder, and when you teach Jesus Christ crucified. And when you keep in your mind the fact that you have your cross ready, and in position, and your willing. Then you have proven your belief. Because you have placed Him before all, your mate, your family and loved ones.

And that is as it should be, because you don't have any closer relative than your Father. He's the closest kin you've got. So can you blame Him for wanting to be FIRST in your life, your first in His. His children are always first in His life, everything He's ever done, from even creating you for His pleasure. You give Him pleasure because He loves you. Do you love your children? Of course you do. Do they give you pleasure? Your Father is no different. So you must put Him first in your life and be willing to follow Him, follow the WORD.

If you are delivered up before Antichrist, and you let that cross fall off your shoulder and you bow a knee to Antichrist, then you've lost everything.

There are many that you are calling forth, that are planting seeds, that will bow a knee to Antichrist for a moment. They are called the 144,000. Some of those that were not chosen from the first world age, but will overcome in this earth age could be in danger by the example that God's elect sets forth. Hope and prey that by you setting the example, they will see Him in you, and follow your example to the end.
