Hangman's Bridge (Henkersbrücke) leads across the Kocher River to Katherinenvorstadt (Katherine's suburb), which is another section of Schwäbisch Hall. However, in the 14th century, the area was actually a separate city, and like Schwäbisch Hall at that time, had its own fortified wall.
