Ada Sculpture Competition

Wayeath Weddle, winner of the first
Ada Sculpture Competition, poses with his work.

Sherri Chandler, winner of the second Ada Sculpture Competition. Both works are on display in the new Ada Sculpture Garden at the northeast end of Wintersmith Park.

The Ada Arts and Humanities Council has enjoyed its role in helping to create an outdoor sculpture garden in the Ada Arboretum and Sculpture Garden at Wintersmith Park in Ada, Oklahoma. The competition was held for five years and drew a number of entries from sculptors throughout the area. Unfortunately, funding for the competition has been withdrawn, but during its existence, the project was generously funded by a grant from the City of Ada and the Oklahoma Arts Council.

We invite you to stop by the sculpture garden and enjoy all five works of art. We will update this page with photos of the sculptures as soon as possible.
