Lisa Handman
Professional Harpist
Lisa was a Merit Scholar at Manhattan School
of Music,
Preparatory Division. She subsequently attented Indiana University School
of Music and earned her Bachelor of Music
Education Degree from Montclair State College, where she studied with Rosalie Pratt, nationally reknown
Harpist. Other teachers include Jane Weidensaul and Peter Eagle.
In addition to Weddings, Receptions, Special Events,
Corporate Parties, Symphony Concerts, and Grand Openings, Lisa was
featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the ABC program "20/20", the B98.5 Morning Show, and the
soundtrack for "Interview with a Vampire". Regional and local performances include the Chattanooga and Greenville Symphony Orchestras, 1996 Olympic Receptions for International Federation of Aquatics, Israeli Paralympic Team, and IBM Olympic Hospitality.
Lisa offers a splendid repertoire of popular
Classical, New Age, Jazz, Celtic, Jewish, and Religious Music. She has a
harp for any occasion -- a Gold Pedal Harp, an Irish Harp, or an Electric
Harp. The new Electric Harp with its individually amplified strings and
complete sound system, make it an excellent choice for large reception
halls or outdoor functions. Lisa has the only Electric Harp in the Atlanta area.
