Rogério Machado de Oliveira, was born in Campos dos Goytacazes RJ
and resides at 29 General Estilac Leal Street, Fundão.
He graduated in:
- Accounting at João Barcelo Martins Technical College.
- Piano at the Campos Conservatory of Music.
- English at the Brazil - Unites States Institute of Rio de Janeiro - IBEU.
- Brazilian Popular Theory and Piano improvisation at Ianguest Music School - CIGAM.
- Bachelor of music and piano at
the University of Rio de Janeiro (UNI-RIO).
Rogério has performed in several piano recitals at UNI-RIO. In Campos
he participated in lots of events such as the Pianist Series whose purpose
was to present the new talents of the city. He performed as the pianist
of the Campos Popular Orchestra in several concerts sponsored by the Musical
Cultural Center of Campos.
He worked as a monitor at the University of Rio de Janeiro (UNI-RIO) for
three years theaching classical piano and keyboard theory. For two years
he worked as a piano and keyboard teacher at the Musical Cultural Center
of Campos a school affiliated with the Brazilian Conservatory of Music
of Rio do Janeiro.
He has been working as a pianist in conjunction with choirs and singers
throughout Brazil.
Currently he has dedicated himself to instrumental and popular music through
his compositions and arrangements.
