By Mistake...

I brought her home by impulsiveness

Her Ancestor?!

I believe her ancestor was a wolf.

Her Fate

I realised that I could not bring her with me. What i could do was either send her to the Humane Society or to send her to a friend. All friends, acquaintance and even strangers in the park who walked with a dog gave me a negative answer. By regulation the Humane Society would give the pets a shot if there were no adoptive parent within three months. I was rather reluctant to do that and getting more anxious as time was running out.

By Chance, By Miracle....

The way I got to know Jim and Darlene Hilliard was indeed a miracle.

I remember that was in late April where the snow was not melted at all. I drove one late evening to a repairman to have my hi-fi set been fixed. When I was driving I saw a couple walking with a sheltie and immediately an idea flashed into my mind. I made a big u-turn and parked the car by the roadside. I ran quickly and stopped right in front of them and they were a bit shocked by my sudden appearance. I told them briefly my story and asked if they would like to have another sheltie.

Darlene was hesitated because they already have five cats at home. Jim, her husband gave me their phone numbers and asked if we could talk in details over the phone.

I called them as soon as I returned home. They promised to take Lulu provided she was in good health condition and get along with other cats and dog. They recommended Lulu to stay with them over the week-end so they could observe her attitude.

Lulu belonged to the Hilliard family since then and amazingly she got along with all pets peacefully.

Special thanks here to Darlene and Jim for their utmost care and love to Lulu and I am so relief for finding such a nice home and parents for her.

There is always something unexpected in life.
