2004 Camp News!

There is some very good news about the 2004 Glickman-Popkin Bassoon Camp! Mark has secured the guests artists, and the dates for camp next summer!

The Guest artists will be David McGill of the Chicago Symphony (and recently Indiana University), and John Wetherill, Principal Bassoon of the Indianapolis Symphony. The 2004 G-P will run from May 27-June 3, and will feature all of the same ameneties as always.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail Mark Popkin at home.

Last year marked the Silver Anniversary of the Glickman-Popkin Bassoon Camp (1978-2003), and it was a banner year! With well over 60 campers in attendance, this year's camp provided the usually fun and excitement with two world-class guest artists, and the presence of world-reknown bassoonist Arthur Wesiberg. The seven days of camp this year seemed to go way too fast, and many campers commented that they wish camp could have gone on even longer.

Please feel free to look around the site, and if you have any questions that are not answered through the site, please feel free to contact either Mark Popkin directly through e-mail, or the webmaster.

Thanks for looking, and maybe this year we'll see you on Mark and Loren's mountain!
