GMAC-RFC, Minneapolis, MN 2003 to Present Senior Software QA Analyst(consultant) DSE Compliance Strategy Project -- Verified the servers handling of all federal and state rules, where non-compliance would result in a $500,000 loss per loan Assisted the project manager in creating a project plan, estimated test tasks and schedules; coordinated business analysts, system analysts and other testing groups in setting up a testing scope for the project; wrote test scenarios and test plans based on the business requirements; coded requests in XML; executed automated test scripts in Winrunner to run full regression test suites; analyzed and generated defect reports using TestDirector.
Assetwise Direct 3.0 -- allows customers to create/submit a loan to RFCs evaluation engine
Developed the test plan and test cases using TestDirector; worked closely with development team and business analyst to review product requirements and test cases; gave proper recommendations in the review meeting; summarized data migration testing tips for new QA team members; setup a test matrix for DU submission and importing/exporting a loan; verified that the data retrieved from both the SQL server and Fannie Mae is correct; executed both manual and automated test cases (using Winrunner) on the Windows NT platform.
Hewlett Packard, Cupertino, CA 2000 to 2003 Software QA Engineer HP NonStop SOAP 3.0 -- allows banking customers to access account information over the Internet Developed the test cases for verifying sessions and transactions, including starting/ending a session, starting/aborting/ending a transaction and session timeout on both pathway and CORBA environments; analyzed product requirements; automated both command line (OSS Unix based) and CGI test cases using Korn shell, C++, various web testing tools including Winrunner, SnoopUtil and Webload; successfully delivered the product on time. HP customers, including financial institutes are currently using the product for legacy access on NSK Tandem mainframes via HTTP through different platforms.
HP NonStop SOAP for SQL -- stores bank account information
Created tables and alias by using SQLCI; created SQL package by using HP NonStop XML for SQL; coded SDL sample and XML client requests; retrieved data from the Internet by accessing backend servers. HP clients successfully accessed SQL/MX database by sending requests thought the Internet. HP NonStop XML Parser 2.0 -- verifies integrity of customer requests to banks servers
Verified if a request sent by a client was converted to a well-formed XML format, so it can be sent to the backend server; wrote Korn shell script for XML parser performance tests (SAXPrint, SAXCount, DomPrint and DomCount), analyzed the parsing time and CPU usage; developed ICU tests for different encodings; supplied a fast parsing XML document environment for HP NonStop SOAP 3.0.
