This time we're knitting. I didn't want to mix techniques on the same page -- it gets too confusing when you're trying to find something.

Kath Dalmeny's World of Knitted Toys by Kath Dalmeny
This one is readily available. It sounds like a super handbook of sweet little toys for kids, or a display shelf.

Knit Toysby Nathalie Craig
Availability: This title is out of print, but if you place an order we may be able to find you a used copy within 1-3 months.
Until I lived not to far from an "out of print" bookstore I didn't realize how easy it is to get books that no one has ever heard of. And I don't have the resources of Amazon.

Knit-A-Saurus: Cute & Cuddly Monsters (Milner Craft)
by Donald Arthars

McCall's Big Book of Dolls and Soft Toys to Knit and Crochet
by McCall's Needlework and Crafts Magazine Editors
Just from the cover this is a Must Have sort of book!

45 Fine & Fanciful Hats to Knit : Berets, Toques, Cones, Stars, Pentagons, and More by Anna Zilboorg
Hats may be just hats, but some are more fun than others....

Folk Mittens : Techniques and Patterns for Handknitted Mittens
These are beautiful patterns, but the patience of a saint looks like a requisite in making them. However, what a perfect way to put scraps of yarn to excellent use!

Fox and Geese and Fences; A Collection of Traditional Maine Mittens by Robin Hansen

Great Knits for Kids by Debbie Bliss

Head to Toe: 30 Original Designs for Hats, Mittens, and Other Accessories by Rush, Helene M. Rush
This one certainly sounds good. I'd like to see it. Maybe she has some of the unusual designs people have asked me to help them find.

Knitting from the Netherlands; Traditional Dutch Fishermen's Sweaters by Henriet Vander Klift-Tellegen, Henriette Van Der Klift-Tellegen
Just from the cover this is a great book! Who would know more about sailor's sweaters than the Dutch? They've been reknown seamen since early times.(I doubt I'll cause an international incident with that opinion...ya think??)

Mary Thomas's Knitting Book. by Mary Thomas.
Please bear in mind that my pages are always "under renovation". If you don't see it here the first time -- don't give up. Next time I just might have it. Never hesitate to ask for what you want. That doesn't mean I can always get it -- but I can certainly try.
