Hi Redwood Empire Chapter members------

On Sunday afternoon, September 19, we had our opening program for the season. It was a wonderful Evensong sung by Cantiamo directed by the ever capable Carol Menke. Our member, Charles Ward, did a superb job at the organ.

There was a good turnout of people for the audience, however, our chapter representation was not as good as we had hoped. Please try to support our programs by your attendance. A lot of thought and work go into preparing them. I certainly hope that we can have a better turnout for our next program in Cloverdale in October. I think that you will all enjoy hearing that marvelous small historic pipe organ in the church there.

Our new sub-dean, Jim Harrod, orchestrated a very elegant reception for the event on Sunday as was remarked by many visitors who were there. Thank you Jim for all that you are doing for our chapter. Thank you to Dorothy Clazie for the lovely table decorations as well as for having our new rosters available to be picked up.
