Thoughts on the eve of an inaugural event…

" The love of a subject teaches itself. When a musician loves to play and his whole being is in it, that feeling communicates itself to those who are listening. They feel that they too would like to learn to play. When the teacher really loves to teach, his students become extraordinary human beings and because they have this thing vibrating in their hearts, they learn more quickly and their minds are excellent and not mediocre... Love ONE thing for itself..."

-Jiddu Krishnamurti [paraphrased from
Think On These Things]

...Not sure what these little stolen pieces of paper are for. They sure are good for a scribble or two.  Yea, verily.  Are we all star-struck? And if so, by whom? By ourselves? And why shouldn’t we be?  We are grand and glorious creatures, weaving these patterns in and out of our lives.  Why not weave to the sound of beautiful music.  It’s all a game anyway. Isn’t it? Action, no thought.  Who thinks during games anyway?  It’s all just for fun…

Thoughts after the fact...

Out of the mist she rides
Carried freely upon his sleeve
Spilling herself into our very souls
And we are not the same…
