The Secret Life of a Snare Drum goes to the U.S.A.! (and Vladimir, too!)
The 8-channel work has been selected for the
New York City Electoacoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF),
which will take place April 2-4, 2009 at the Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue,
and at other locations in New York City. A program of concerts, papers,
demonstrations and other events is being planned.

The Secret Life of a Snare Drum.
Vladimir has been invited by the DAAD
- Berliner Künstlerprogramm
to Germany. During his two-months stay (April/May 2005)
he will realize at the Electonic
Studio of the Technical University Berlin
his new work The Secret Life of a Snare Drum, a 7 channel acousmatic
piece. The world premiere will take place on 8th of July
during the festival
Musik im July (Inventionen 2005) in Berlin. Thank you, DAAD!

Modern in Austria.
The Secret Life of a Violin has
been diffused by the IMEB
with the Cybernephone system on MUSICA
SCIENZA
in Roma, Italy on June 23rd 2003.
And here a nice fact: two of the five festival
concerts have been
named after my piece: “Secret life of matter”
and ”Secret life
of sounds”; the last one contained my piece!
