William McMillen was born ca 1745-50 in Ireland. He was married ca 1770 in Ireland. He died in 1817 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. His wife was Martha ?? who was also born in Ireland and died in 1828 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

1803 to Edmond Chitwood. Died in Marion County,Ill.
6. Joseph McMillen born ca 1780 in Virginia, married July
13, 1807 to Sarah Jane Wright in Williamson County,
Tennessee
7. Jane McMillen born between 1780-1810, married
Jonathan Groce
8. Martha (Patsy) McMillen married Gilbert Marshall
9. Polly (Mary) McMillen married Hugh Pinkston





Joseph McMillen, son of William and Martha McMillen, was born between 1775-80. Married July 13, 1807 in Williamson County,Tennessee and died between 1840-50 in Tippah County, Mississippi. His wife, Sarah Jane Wright born ca 1783 in Virginia. She died October 15, 1866 in Tippah County, Mississippi and is buried in Pogue Cemetery, SE Falkner, Ms. They were the parents of the following:
1. Daughter born by 1810
2. Eliza Ann McMillen born September 16, 1812 in
Lincoln County, Tennessee. She married Samuel
Duckworth.
3. Daughter born between 1810-20 in Lincoln County,
Tennessee
4. Andrew Jasper McMillen born 1815 in Lincoln County,
Tennessee, married August 10, 1857 in Tippah County,
Mississippi to Martha Caroline McMullan, widow of
James Hawkins. Died 1900 in Tipton County,Tennessee
Buried in Indian Creek Cemetery, Bpt.
5. Nancy Wright McMillen born June 10, 1822 in Lincoln
County, Tennessee, Married October 19, 1861 in Tippah
County, Mississippi to Harden H. Hopper, buried in
Little Hope P. Bpt Cemetery s/Falkner, Ms.
6. Joseph Jefferson McMillen born March 7, 1826 in
Lincoln County, Tennessee. Married March 8, 1866 in
Tippah County, Mississippi to Susan Catherine Wright
Died April 5, 1913 in Tippah County, Mississippi
7. Susan Jemema "Miney" McMillen born 1828 in Lincoln
County, Tennessee. Married January 6, 1864 in Tippah
County, Mississippi to A. James
8. Sarah Jane McMillen born June 12, 1830 in Lincoln
County, Tennessee. Married in 1851 in Tippah County,
Mississippi to Jacob Brown Autry. Died November 29,
1891 in Caldwell County, Texas
9. Elizabeth J. McMillen born ca 1832 in Lincoln County,
Tennessee
