this picture looking across to Manhattan Island.
A nearly abandoned town, just west of Tucumcari.
Built in 1933 on Route 66, was the longest bridge in New Mexico.

The address on the bills wrongly put me in this area,
and after the local cops cleared out the loading zone (and wrote a bunch of tickets),
I took the bills in to the store owners so they could begin unloading me.
It wasn't until then, that I discovered the address should have been their warehouse!
I suppose you could say I was lost.
But you could also say that rather than worry about it
too much I saw the photo opportunity as I wandered through
this Hasidic Jewish neighborhood.
