Prior to 9/11 I was living in San Diego, California.
Call me paranoid, but the terror warnings had me heading for the hills!

Around the time 9-11 occurred, I was living alone.
The company I was working for in San Diego was being sold overseas.
I figured a change would be good with the terror warnings, some which included quarintine.
I sold everything and took off to the desert to think things over.

Needless to say, I found out real quick how difficult it is living outdoors.
Finding campsites, cold, wind, rain, I needed shelter.
I saw truck drivers lived in relative comfort. They can park
close to civilization, or out in the boonies. They eat in restaurants
and except for driving conditions, weather isn't that big a deal.
