I use an amateur SWR/WATT meter to insure my radio is properly matched to the antenna
and to measure the power applied to the antennas.

Uniden Bear Tracker scanner radio with "BEAR SNIFFER".
Alert lights when bears are within three miles.

Garmin GPSV
Point to point navigation. I'll key the address I need to go,
and the gps will display street level directions.

The second screen dispays the distance I have traveled for the day
and moving time. This information I record to my daily logs.

Qualcomm
This unit is installed in the truck which tracks my progress,
and allows the dispatchers to communicate with me.

HP Pavilion dv8000 laptop computer.

This 400 watt 5.1 system needs cooling when I am listening at high volume.
The blower behind, vents the stereo and serves to circulate air in the cab.

To keep the batteries charged and air conditioning, I've installed a Thermo King TriPac.
