SUSAN McFADDEN
WINNER: WILD CARD

DUBLIN.

SONG: "What A Feeling" by Irene Cara

· AGE: 19
· HEIGHT: 5' 3"
· EYE COLOUR: Blue
· HAIR COLOUR: Blonde
· STAR SIGN: Aquarius
· FAMILY: Susan lives at home with her mum Mairead and her dad Brendan. She has one brother Brian who is married to Kerry. She also has a niece called Molly who is only 16 months old.

· MUSICAL BACKGROUND: Ex- Billy Barry star Susan has been performing for years and was the star of the McFadden family long before older brother Brian joined Westlife. Susan began singing at the age of four and appeared on both 'The Late Late Fashion Show' and 'The Late Late Toy Show'. When she was only eleven years old Susan played the lead role in the musical Annie in the Olympia Theatre. She had the time of her life and even got to mind her co-performer "Sandy" the dog at home.

· WILD CARD: Susan is delighted to have been given the chance to perform live and promises to stun audiences with her voice. Susan would love to make it as a professional singer but she is adamant that she will get there on her own merit and she hopes that "You're A Star" and the Irish public will give her that chance.

· COLLEGE: Susan is currently studying in Colaiste Dhulaigh only as a back up plan because her destiny lies in music.

· GIGS: When not studying Susan is squeezing in hectic rehearsing for The June Rogers Carnerat Show in The Red Cow Inn which she takes part in every year.

· DANCING DIVA: Every Monday night for seven years Susan has tapped the night away at dance classes where she and her friends meet up and go a bit mental for a few hours.

· MUSICAL INTERESTS: Susan's eardrums are tickled by Leanne Rimes and pop princess Britney Spears. She also likes to get down and boogie to seventies disco tunes whenever she's on a night out and when she's chilling at home it has to be Motown and R n' B music.

· SHOPAHOLIC: If there is anything in this world that Susan loves more than her singing and dancing then it has to be the murky underworld of the high street. Grafton Sreet is where you will find Susan wandering around with a dreamy and contented look on her face, for it is there that she worships her Gods. Those Gods are Vero Moda, Top Shop, Miss Selfridges and anywhere else that sells trendy threads.
· EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Space cadet Susan sometimes forgets where she is and this can have disastrous effects on her cooler than cool exterior. Once while walking along a Dublin street she decided that she was a bit pooped from all her walking and shopping and decided to grab a cab. Unfortunately for Susan no one told her that not every car is a taxi. Opening the back door of an unsuspecting little old lady's car Susan couldn't understand it when the sweet old lady told her to get lost.

· CRINGE ALERT: While performing on stage to a packed crowd Susan was giving it her usual amount of welly until she felt a little draft. Looking down she saw her halterneck top lying around her ankles. Running off stage all she could do was laugh hysterically until she fell down and fainted!

· CRAZY COOK: Susan prides herself on her cooking skills but so far she has only managed to make scrambled eggs on toast.

· VEGGING OUT: When not cooking up a storm in the kitchen she likes to curl up under her duvet in her room with a truckload of chocolate and sweets where she will veg for hours and hours, watching re-runs of "Friends" episodes.

· HOBBIES: For something a bit more energetic she loves walking the length of Portmarknock beach accompanied by boyfriend Gavin. She also loves babysitting baby niece Molly who she describes as "deadly".

· PETS: When it comes to pets Susan has had them all - dogs, cats, goldfish, rabbits etc. Not all at the same obviously however once the McFadden family had seven cats running around the place. Then Susan got a dog called Chip. He was a Shiatsu with long white hair but ran away last year when baby niece Molly was born. Susan reckons Chip got jealous of all the attention Molly was getting!

· FAVOURITE EUROVISION SONG: Susan loves Charlie McGettigan and Paul Harrington's winning number "Rock N' Roll Kid".

· LIKES: Chocolate and travelling.

· DISLIKES: Carrots and anything Green

· MUSICAL FAMILY: Susan is proof that the McFadden clan are a talented bunch, so if all goes according to plan could we have the next Carpenters on our hands?

· AMBITION: So far Susan has visited South Africa, Iceland and North America. Her ambition now is to venture to Thailand and Australia.
