The Corporate Overthrow of the United States of America in the 20th Century

Introduction

"This is how the war machine operates. Behind the seeming concern for national security are the busy men with the bulging briefcases hurrying from the Pentagon over to Capitol Hill, the tight-mouthed men hurrying from CIA headquarters over to the Pentagon; it is eventually a game. It is an operation designed to produce for the warfare sector and its military hardware supporters billions of dollars annually and unlimited power in the affairs of the nation.

"Since the end of World War II, the United States has spent a thousand billion dollars-one trillion dollars-furnished by the American people, who have been colonized by these men and their hunger for power. Could the CIA kill a President to keep such an operation going? Kings have been beheaded for infinitely less."

Jim Garrison, A Heritage of Stone (1970).

We live in a hostile, corrupted, cynical time on Planet Earth. No one can deny that general assessment. However, when it comes to blind loyalty and patriotic allegiance, it seems a critical mass of the citizens of this military "Superpower" known as "America" are in complete denial, leaving the rest of us stunned with disbelief.

The same nation which promotes the face of George Washington across the planet-- that "Worshipful Master" of the White House, slave-master, Indian eradicator, commander in chief , surrogate King-- now allows the Capitol named for Glorified George to represent them to the world, regardless of the ugly, pestilent history under their feet, tucked away in their piggy-banks, passed down from the previous unholy-Roman holocausts of history.

Can cynicism be fatal? In these times, thanks to the U.S.A., this has become the preeminent global challenge, overshadowing all other matters like a spreading mushroom cloud. Show me the money, follow the gold and oil, the trade in arms....poison gas, biological weapons, nuclear bombs, space-based lasers, genetic manipulation, plastic and petrol....

This report will present evidence that, due to critical flaws in the Constitutional relationship of the U.S. military with the representatives of the American people, the constitutional government known as the "United States of America" has been technically OVERTHROWN by a multinational, corporate conspiracy, based primarily on European- supremacist values. Through the creation of a shadow government, under the guise of "national security" and the tutelage of Nazi and British spy-masters, a handful of families have turned a Constitutional Republic into a secret military police-state.

This document will be presented before the World Court at The Hague, as well as before the United Nations diplomatic community, in support of the case of the Sovereign Hawaiian Nation (now occupied and routinely bombed by the U.S. military-state), as well as on behalf of American Indian Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier.

At the heart of this supremacist conspiracy we find central characters who remain prominent in the public arena today. Following George Bush and his entire family, the Rockefellers, Henry Kissinger, the Morgans and Duponts-- we find tentacles creeping out from the U.S. national security state which affect every last child on Earth, choking off the flow of possibilities to our children's future.

From Big Steel to Big Oil to Big Bombs, these World Bankers and their fraternity brothers have built a gigantic warhead on which the entire world now lives. It is hoped that this report will help to defuse the supremacist, sociopathic, CIA-associated war machine before many millions more must die.

History of Conspiracy : From Masonry to Manifest Destiny

"All nations have found it necessary, that for the advantageous conduct of their affairs, some of these proceedings, at least, should remain known to their executive functionary only."

Thomas Jefferson to George Hay, June 17, 1807

It can be argued that the United States of America, from its earliest inception as revolting colony of England, compromised the Constitution upon which it professed so much faith in "the power of the People." This is in part due to the typical revolutionary situation in any new nation: being at war with its parent Empire.

As the first American commander in chief, George Washington made an historic and symbolic budgetary decision for the first major expenditure of the Continental Army, which can be construed to be the precedent for the contemporary military intelligence structure. This was the payment of $333.33 for a spy network "to go into the town of Boston to establish secret correspondence," in June of 1775.

By November of 1775 the Continental Congress had established the Committee of Secret Correspondence, a network of international spies which included such luminaries as Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, Robert Morris, and Benjamin Harrison. In June of 1776 the Congress went even further by creating the bluntly-named Committee of Spies, to deal with infiltration, treasonous activities, and the coordination of intelligence between General Washington and the members of the Committee of Secret Correspondence. Members of the Committee of Spies included John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Livingston, Edward Rutledge, and James Wilson.

In the midst of a war, the Continental Congress sided with General Washington in delegating the power of covert action to the Executive, leading to a flaw in the Constitutional "separation of powers" upon which the new nation was to rest its security. The full consequences of this flaw would not be fully realized for nearly two centuries, following the Second World War.

Correspondence among the Committee of Secret Correspondence in 1776 reveals some of the controversial issues which ring loudly today. In regard to clandestine operations, Benjamin Franklin and Robert Morris reported: "We agree in opinion that it is our indispensable duty to keep it a secret even from Congress. We find, by fatal experience, the Congress consists of too many members to keep secrets." John Jay admonished Morris : "Communicate no other intelligence to Congress at large than what may be necessary to promote the common weal, not to gratify the curiosity of individuals."

This general trend at the beginning of the nation, to undermine representative government by confiding great independent authority in the Executive, as embodied at the time by General Washington, takes on much more significance as the Committee of Secret Correspondence transforms in 1776 to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the direct forerunner of the Department of State. Little could these secretive 18th century militarists anticipate that their "clandestine operations" would eventually blossom into a global high-tech network of surveillance, secret wars, assassinations, mind-control experiments, and rigged elections!

Another fatal flaw in the structure of the fledgling United States during the Revolutionary War period is evidenced by the mysterious sum which General Washington paid to establish his first intelligence network in Boston: $333.33. This is a symbolic tribute to George Washington's membership and allegiance to the Freemasonry movement, which played a large part in the foundation of the new country.

Although James Madison and Alexander Hamilton warned repeatedly about the dangers of "factionalism" and the tendency for elite groups to seize the seats of power, the Masons are prominently celebrated throughout the central institutions and architecture of the United States. One only has to look at the back of a dollar bill to see the Grand Mark of Masonry in all its glory.

For example, consider the laying of the cornerstone of the Capitol, as reported in the
Alexandria Gazette, September 25, 1793, an entirely Masonic ceremony centered around Grand Master George Washington, during which ... "Three most Worshipful Masters, descended to the Cavesson trench-and deposed the plate, and laid on it the Corner Stone of the Capitol of the United States of America; on which was deposed the Corn, Wine, and Oil: When the whole congregation joined in awfull prayer, which was succeeded by Masonic Chanting Honor's and a volley from the artillery."

The Grand Master then delivered an oration interrupted periodically by artillery salutes, which included the following prophecy regarding Washington, D.C.: "It must, my dear Brethren, be evident to all our understandings, that not alone nature, but Providence, hath marked their intentions, in the most indelible manner to make this the feat for the Grand Mark, the super-excellent emporium of politics, commerce, industry, and arts of the United States- Seated in the very centricity of our republic- on the banks of one of the noblest rivers in the universe- sufficiently capacious to erect thereon a city equal, if not superior, in magnitude to any in the world- It boasts, but then very truly- a climate the most serene and salubrious- equal of access from all the cardinal and intermediate points as any place that kind nature ever formed even beyond the conception of art- wanting no defence but what is in, and ever will be in, I trust, the intrepidity and bravery of its founder and citizens."

Although only a small fraction of Americans are familiar with Freemasonry, the course of the United States, economically, militarily, and culturally, has been determined by its members and proponents. One can argue that the entire Revolutionary War was nothing more than a factional division within the Masonic movement, led by Washington's Virginia Lodge No. 22.

Other prominent Freemasons who charted America's course:
Benjamin Franklin, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, James Polk, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, James Garfield, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Warren G. Harding, William Taft, William McKinley, Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson and Gerald Ford. Also faithful to Masonry were Henry Ford, Mt. Rushmore sculptor Gutzon Borglum, Winston Curchill, General George Marshall, Chief Justice John Marshall, General Douglas Macarthur, J. Edgar Hoover, Andrew Mellon, and Nathan Rothschild.

One can easily project on the Presidency of the United States, upon which rests the awesome power of the military in all of its manifestations, a vulnerability to subversion by such elitist societies as the Masons, the Knights of Malta, and in our current world where the new C.I.A. Headquarters has been named "The George Bush Center for Intelligence," the notorious Skull and Bones Society.

It is the contention of this report that the United States of America was hijacked at the start by this network of secret brotherhoods, pledging allegiance to their own profits and power, outside the constitutional checks on waging war, unbeknownst to the vast majority of the citizenry upon which the Constitution places ultimate authority.

History testifies to a vast corporate conspiracy carried out in this century by the Hearsts, the Rockefellers, the Duponts , the Mellons, and the Bushes, which include such treasonous activities (punishable by death according to the Committee of Spies!) as financing and abetting the fascist enemies in Europe during WWII!!! While average working families were sending their sons across the Atlantic under orders of Roosevelt and Churchill, to fight and die for freedom, these elitist families were swelling their banks and businesses, even with the Nazi gold extracted from the teeth of death camp victims! With one of their sons attempting today to take the White House, these Crimes Against Humanity and the U.S. Constitution need to be examined in a new global perspective, to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.

European Imperialism and Cultural Genocide

"I hope we shall give the Indians a good drubbing this summer, and then change our tomahawk into a golden chain of friendship. The most economical as well as the most humane conduct towards them is to bribe them into peace, and to retain them in peace by eternal bribes."

Thomas Jefferson to Charles Carroll, April 15, 1791

From the time of Jefferson's writing of the Declaration of Independence to his sanctioning of kidnapping, bribery, piracy, insurgency, and outright genocide, the new nation of the United States became increasingly dedicated to what was diplomatically termed "Manifest Destiny": the increasing of the territory of the Republic by any means necessary, for the good of the Union, based on the ideals of European supremacy in all matters. Needless to say, this did not, and still does not, sit well with the First Nations/Indigenous Peoples who already occupied the continent.

Through the exercise of the Executive powers of covert military campaigns, Presidents have wielded the inordinate abilities to wage wars against sovereign nations, to direct genocidal campaigns against Native resistance (such as the smallpox-infected blankets that constitute an early American biowarfare operation against Plains Indian tribes) and to finance soldiers of fortune and death squads in other countries, all without any supervision by the representatives of the People-- the Congress.

Perhaps nowhere is this Constitutional hemorrhage of accountability more clear than in the case of the overthrow of the Sovereign Hawaiian Kingdom by a small "Committee" of elitist conspirators, an American ambassador acting covertly, and the War Department. This criminal invasion and military occupation, based primarily on the "Manifest Destiny" (European supremacy) ideals in vogue during the 19th century, of a sovereign nation with which the United States had diplomatic and economic treaties, is a stain on the credibility of the United States which continues to this day, and is yet to be reconciled.

This invasion and overthrow occurred during the administration of President Benjamin Harrison, under the direction of Secretary of State John W. Foster, who instructed American ambassador to Hawai'i John Stevens to carry out covert activities toward the goal of annexation of Hawai'i "in America's interests" and to send to Washington two types of communiques, one for the purpose of public affairs, and the other concerning covert activities and "personal intrigue." Foster wrote to Stevens: "Many of your dispatches combine these two modes of treatment to such a degree as to make their publication, in the event of a call from Congress or other occasion therefore inexpedient and, indeed, impractical, without extended omission."

Of course, the majority of details and instructions from the Harrison administration have never been found. Yet, we have sufficient evidence from correspondence and testimony that a covert operation was carried out by a Presidential administration without the consent or knowledge of Congress, with the goal of overthrowing a sovereign nation and annexing it as U.S. territory.

Ambassador Stevens arranged for Lorrin Thurston, a representative of the secret Honolulu-based "Annexation Club" to meet with Secretary of the Navy Benjamin Tracy at the Chicago World's Fair, and with Secretary of State Foster in Washington in 1892, unbeknownst even to President Harrison because they "thought it best that the President should not commit himself in the matter."

The overthrow was engineered the very next year, as a U.S. warship on its way to the Phillippines pulled into Honolulu. On January 17, 1893, a number of Americans under the direction of the Annexation Club, led by Sanford Dole, ordered Queen Lili'uokalani to recognize their annexation-oriented "Republic of Hawaii" and vacate the Royal Palace. In coordination with their efforts, Ambassador Stevens ordered a detachment of 164 U.S. Marines, armed with rifles and cannon, to "protect American property and life." With the military surrounding the Palace, pointing cannon at her, Queen Lili'uokalani stepped down to prevent loss of life, but never relinquished the sovereignty of the Hawaiian Kingdom, .

When news of the new "Republic" reached Congress, with a treaty of "annexation," President Harrison denied any American involvement in the overthrow. Incoming President Grover Cleveland, upon dispatching his own minister to investigate the matter, was shocked and sickened by the bogus "insurrection" and withdrew the annexation treaty issued by the racist "Republic."

Cleveland wrote to Congress immediately upon discerning the criminal aspects of the conspiracy:

"The lawful Government of Hawaii was overthrown without the drawing of a sword or the firing of a shot by a process every step of which, it may safely be asserted, is directly traceable to and dependent for its success upon the agency of the United States acting through its diplomatic and naval representatives.

"But the notorious predilections of the United States Minister for annexation, the Committee of Safety, which should be called the Committee of Annexation, would never have existed.

"But for the landing of the United States forces upon false pretexts respecting the danger to life and property the committee would never have exposed themselves to the pains and penalties of treason by undertaking the subversion of the Queen's Government.

"But for the presence of the United States forces in the immediate vicinity and in position to afford all needed protection and support, the committee would not have proclaimed the provisional government from the steps of the Government building.

"And finally, but for the lawless occupation of Honolulu under false pretexts by the United States forces, and but for Minister Steven's recognition of the provisional government when the United States forces were its sole support and constituted its only military strength, the Queen and her government would never have yielded to the provisional government, even for a time and for the sole purpose of submitting her case to the enlightened justice of the United States."

President Grover Cleveland "A Message to Congress" December 18, 1893

Here we have one President testifying to the abuses of the Executive powers of his predecessor, acting on behalf of a secretive society of supremacists in a sovereign nation, and what was the result? His protests were largely ignored, the Dole "Republic" remained in power through military intimidation, while the U.S. Navy set up base in Pearl Harbor. The Hawaiian islands were formally annexed by the United States during President McKinley's administration in 1898.

Let this criminal example of U.S. "foreign policy" stand as the model for its dealing with all Indigenous Nations. Every Indian Nation has its own testimony regarding the greed and avarice of the white man, the manipulation of legal papers and boundary lines, the death by assassination and disease, the occupation of their land and the theft of their resources.

The overthrow and occupation of the sovereign Hawaiian Kingdom, for the past century takes on even greater significant when examining the abuses of Executive powers through C.I.A. activities in Central America, support of the Zedillo regime in Mexico, the current thrust for corporate expansion in Columbia, and nearly everywhere else the U.S. "covert operations" have prevailed. In almost every situation where the C.I.A. has been involved in organizing insurrection, election fraud, assassination, torture, and terrorism, it is to the detriment of the Indigenous, the workers, the peasants, and Human Rights activists. This past century has been a shameful campaign, run from the White House, on behalf of petty dictators, pirate corporations, supremacist societies, bankers, military corporations, and oil companies.

US War in the Pacific

Corporate Empires and Armageddon : War as a Substitute for Culture

" To hear that resume reciting all of my political background and experience, of course oftentimes people say that work in the oil industry is not really sort of an upper-crust kind of organization and I say, 'Yeah, but I used to be a Congressman and it's clearly a step up for me to go from the political world to the world of the oil and gas industry.

" I'm often asked why I left politics and went to Halliburton and I explain that I reached the point where I was mean-spirited, short-tempered and intolerant of those who disagreed with me and they said 'Hell, you'd make a great CEO', so I went to Texas and joined the private sector."

Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate Dick Cheney, before The
Institute of Petroleum in the U.K., 1999.

When Dick Cheney spoke on behalf of his mother corporation, Halliburton, the largest military service corporation on the planet, he was summing up the trend of the century: War is Big Business, and it pays well.

As Secretary of State, Cheney had the Pentagon pay Brown and Root Services over $8 million in 1992 to assess how they could mobilize the private sector in support of troop movements in war zones, such as road building, harbor facilities, landing strips, and other construction activities. Halliburton Industries is the parent of Brown and Root. Between 1992 and 1999, the Pentagon paid Brown and Root over $1.2 billion for support services in military mobilizations, from the Balkans to Somalia to the Persian Gulf.

Cheney was appointed CEO of Halliburton in 1995, and has collected over $10 million in salary, and another $40 million in shares and stock options. Now he is attempting, along with George Bush, Jr., to assume the Executive power of the United States, to wield the largest military in the history of the world. To the average person, this appears as a criminal conflict of interest, a self-serving corporate conspiracy, or sheer, bald-faced piracy. To the engineers of the "New World Order" it is simply another link in the chain of planetary power.

Ask George Bush Sr. and his Skull and Bones cronies at the C.I.A. about conflict of interest and corporate criminality, and you're likely to get a discourse on planetary politics that would make Mussolini proud. Mussolini's model of "corporate fascism" is strikingly similar to the current W.T.O. multi-national thrust which supercedes the U.S. Constitution and local autonomy, by force of military intervention if necessary.

The connection between European fascism and the Bush family is a disturbingly direct one. Prescott Bush, George H.W. Bush's father, was a partner of Brown Brothers, one of the Executives of Union Banking, a senior partner of Harriman and Co., all of which financed and supported the ideals of Nazi Germany, through German industrialist Fritz Thyssen and the Dulles brothers' Knights of Malta-allied Sullivan and Cromwell.

Prescott Bush achieved these influential positions, as his sons and grandsons after him, largely through his father-in-law, George Herbert Walker, George H.W. Bush's grandfather. After being caught after WWII for aiding and abetting the enemy, and having the assets of Brown Brothers and Union Banking seized, the Bush family went on to their rewards in the oil and military contracting industries.

Prescott Bush served as an Executive for Dresser Industries, a corporation owned by Brown Brothers Harriman, for decades, where George H.W. Bush got his start in the oil industry. Coincidentally, CEO Dick Cheney decided in 1998 that Halliburton should purchase Dresser Industries for $8 billion, creating the world's largest oil drilling and military services corporation. Two years later, when appointed by George Bush, Jr. to select a Vice Presidential candidate, Cheney chose himself, and now Halliburton-Dresser is positioned to profit from every military maneuver carried out by the C.I.A. and the Pentagon in this next century.

In a country which parades itself proudly as the cradle of freedom and democracy, the past century belies a horrific trend toward covert corporate conspiracy, enabled by the "national security" institutions established after WWII, from which the C.I.A. was born. American patriotism has come to identify so closely with military might that one can easily argue that American culture has been slowly replaced with a permanent condition of waging war, under the guise of "policing the world." Upon closer inspection, however, the entire military-corporate structure takes on a specter of piracy, plunder, and abusive power.

Launch Deep into the Security Zone

From the Nazis to a "National Security" State

"I cannot say that our country could have no central police without becoming totalitarian, but I can say with great conviction that it cannot be totalitarian without a centralized national police. A national police will have enough on enough people, even if it does not elect to prosecute them, so that it will find no opposition to its policies."

Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson, The Supreme Court In the American System of Government (1955).

From its beginning the U.S. intelligence community has maintained close ties, sometimes inseparable, to both British and German spy agencies. After 14 members of a captured German spy ring escaped in 1938, President Franklin Rooseveltt created the "Coordinator of Information" office, appointing Medal of Honor recipient William J. Donovan as the first modern-era intelligence director.

Donovan had a vision for an expanded intelligence network with unprecedented powers. He confided in a memo to Secretary of the Navy Frank Know that the new centralized intelligence authority would have to be able to carry out "subversive operations in foreign countries." In 1942 the C.O.I. was renamed the Office of Strategic Services (O.S.S.) and placed under the jurisdiction of the Joint Chiefs of Staff rather than the President.

As a predecessor to the C.I.A., the O.S.S. firmly established the need for intelligence- gathering combined with covert paramilitary operations. The O.S.S. carried out infiltration, subversion, assassination, a guerrilla war, establishing ties to the British, French, and German spy agencies through key operatives such as Allan Dulles, one of the chief engineers of the C.I.A. Richard Helms, William Colby, and William Casey, all to become directors of Central Intelligence, had their start in the O.S.S.

President Truman abolished the O.S.S. in 1945, and created the Central Intelligence Group (C.I.G.) in January, 1946. Congress passed the National Security Act in 1947, establishing the National Security Council, creating the office of the secretary of defense, and the Central Intelligence Agency. The National Security Act directed the C.I.A. in a relatively vague manner, including the directive for "performing such other functions and duties related to intelligence affecting the national security."

The military quickly took advantage of this license for unaccountable covert activity, including intervening in the elections in France and Italy, and gearing up for the Cold War with the Soviet Union. Anti-communism prevailed during the Truman and Eisenhower administrations, and was the fulcrum for which the national security establishment owes its vastly increased influence. The C.I.A. was given virtual free reign to carry out covert operations with very little oversight, eventually establishing its own private network of secret armies rivaling most countries in the world.

During the post-WWII period the separation between U.S. corporate interests, fraternal secret societies, the U.S. military, and intelligence agencies became very fuzzy indeed. Many of the key players, such as the Dulles brothers, had their hands in all of these institutions at once, engineering what they looked upon as a bold "New World Order" of American dominion and corporate expansion, serving both the economy and their vision of a better, more "pure" world. We are living on the tail-end of this covert, expansionist scheme today, manifest in such institutions as the W.T.O. and the World Bank.

A century of covert wars have been left like scars on the world, from Guatemala to Iran, from El Salvador to Indonesia, from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to Angola. Where does the responsibility for all of this death and destruction lie? Whom does a citizen of the world blame for the sins of the C.I.A., the manipulations of the U.S. "national security" state? This question is the haunting challenge that most Americans can not, or
will not attempt to answer, for like the Germans under the Nazis, they were simply following the directives of "their leaders."

Congressional Attempts at Constitutional Oversight

"How far does this Central Intelligence Agency go in its authority and scope? This is a very great departure from what we have done in the past in America. I am very much interested in seeing the United States have as fine a foreign military and naval intelligence as they can possibly have, but I am not interested in setting up here in the United States any particular agency under any President, and just allow him to have a Gestapo of his own if he wants to have it."

Republican Congressman Clarence J. Brown, April 25, 1947

Following the controversial war-making debacle of Vietnam, during which many members of Congress became increasingly disturbed by the expanded powers of the Executive branch to use the Pentagon and C.I.A. as the President's own private war machine, Congress passed the War Powers Resolution in 1973. The intention of this resolution was to reassert the Constitutional provision establishing Congress's role in authorizing the use of U.S. military force in the world.

Since then, no president has acknowledged the constitutionality of the War Powers Resolution, arguing instead that their status as commander-in-chief of the armed forces, in coordination with the allied U.N. and N.A.T.O. forces, authorizes them to use force in defense of U.S. interests, and Congress's role is to act as the authority on budget, controlling the purse-strings of the war-chest.

In 1975, after three investigations carried out by Senator Frank Church, Representative Otis Pike, and Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, much attention was given to the problem of accountability and oversight, but no legislation came out of it. In 1980, Congress passed the Intelligence Oversight Act, which included a provision for giving advanced notice to Congress for every important covert operation. Again in 1991, an Intelligence Oversight Act was passed, insisting on a prior written finding for important covert actions, not after-the-fact as was the case during the Reagan Administration's wars in Central America and the Middle East.

President Clinton pushed for a presidential reform commission on intelligence, following the discovery of a high-placed Russian mole in the C.I.A. (Aldrich Ames) in 1994. Senator John Warner stepped in on behalf of the C.I.A. to create a legislative probe which reassured the American people that the C.I.A. was an effective and essential agency. A compromise was reached between the two branches in 1994, creating a joint Commission on the Roles and Capabilities of the U.S. Intelligence Community. This blue-ribbon panel, the first significant "probe" into intelligence policy in two decades, basically accomplished nothing more significant than a pat on the back. So much for "oversight"!

Dr. Strangelove and Nintendo Nightmares

If the C.I.A. and the other U.S. national security agencies were only involved in intelligence-gathering and military support activities, perhaps the danger they pose would be no greater than any other similar spy agency in the world. However, the C.I.A. has gone far beyond its juridiction for intelligence and has included the development of a wide range of secret technologies in its "covert operations."

The move toward science and technology began under the watch of Director of Central Intelligence (D.C.I.) Allen Dulles during the 1950's, regarding reconnaissance aircraft and spy photography over the Soviet Union. Under the watch of D.C.I. John McCone in the 1960's, even the Pentagon couldn't keep track of all the covert operations and secret technology groups instituted by the C.I.A.

The C.I.A. used such covert names as "Staff Support Group" to infiltrate U.S. Army labs and co-opt weapon technologies for their own uses. In this way, they were able to perfect such lethal devices as the M-1 projectile, a dart which could deliver a small lethal dose of poison or radiation through a person's clothes without their knowledge. During this same period the C.I.A. had taken over the highly secret program known as MKULTRA, which involved research into the use of chemical, biological and radiological agents and mind-control technologies.

The C.I.A. involvement in experiments with chemical and biological agents continued with intensity during the Vietnam War, so much so that some soldiers have argued that the entire purpose of the Vietnam conflict was one giant experimental operation, allegations which have also been made about the Gulf War. LSD, BZ, and other hallucinogenic compounds were tested not only on soldiers in the war environment, but also on unsuspecting civilian populations, leading in some cases to death.

Currently, the American Gulf War Veterans Association are charging that they were experimented on with genetically-engineered vaccines and other experimental compounds, leading to what has come to be termed "Gulf War Syndrome," identified by the Center for Molecular Medicine in Irvine, California as "weaponized mycoplasma infection." Again we find the corporate-military crossover in the pharmaceutical industry.

One of the primary producers of the Gulf War vaccines was Litton Bionetics Systems of Texas, financed and owned in part by George H.W. Bush. How many of these companies are actually C.I.A. cover operations? Americans will probably never know the full extent of the subversion of their society, and the corporate media doesn't seem to want to investigate. Meanwhile, the entire world is falling under the influence of these covert operations, corporate schemes, and cultural subversions.

This report is appealing to its readers to take action today, for at its writing, the C.I.A.-corporate-military elite have nearly taken over the Executive branch of the U.S., again, and Armageddon is in sight.

Conclusions

Considering the founding of the United States, in its cultural situation of war with England, driven by the ideals of European supremacy and elitism, and undermined by the cloak of secrecy, perhaps one can conclude that the United States was fatally flawed from the beginning.

However, holding to heart the Constitutional principles of representative government, democratic process, and resistance to tyranny, one can also conclude that the best intentions of the Founding Fathers were for the betterment of their inheritors, the development of a culture based on tolerance and freedom of expression, and accountability. In no way can we construe that the signers of the U.S. Constitution could have had nuclear arsenals, spy satellites, genetically-engineered viruses, or corporate television in their minds when they looked ahead to the future.

Our world has taken on a complexity and danger that far surpasses anything ever faced by previous generations. The size of the U.S. military and its covert intelligence agencies dwarfs any other military force in the history of the world, even all the other military forces of the world combined. This report is an urgent argument that unprecedented measures are needed to deal with such immense and fatal dangers.

At this time, countless Indigenous cultures are disappearing, as well as their environments, the endangered species which inhabit our most delicate ecosystems, and perhaps most significant of all, the very air we breath and water we drink. How many more "covert wars" can our world withstand, how many more "environmental catastrophes" will we watch spill out around us, how many more shady deals done for the benefit of covert corporate elitists and secret societies will we stand by and tolerate?

"The C.I.A. poses the ultimate threat to democracy, and should be dismantled for the good of the United States and the world."

Former C.I.A. Commander John Stockwell, 1988

It is our much-considered opinion that the only hope for salvation of the United States from its own secret military agencies and their weapons-of-mass-destruction is a concerted form of international intervention. The 21st century cries out for a reckoning of the past century, and a continuation of the justice that began at the Nuremburg Trials, which truly only scratched the surface of the corruption during and after WWII.

On behalf of the sovereign Hawaiian Kingdom, still occupied by the United States, we appeal for international recognition, intervention, and assistance in the reconciliation process. The United States has made it abundantly clear in the past decade that they have not the will, nor the determination, to carry out a fair and just recognition of Indigenous Nations. As far as justice is concerned, the United States has truly become a "national security" state, ruled almost entirely by its immense military establishment.

This report can be considered a petition for the United Nations community and the World Court at The Hague to immediately launch an investigative committee to assess the dangers of the covert military operations and technologies of the U.S., and for investigative journalists to pursue the allegations of veterans of the U.S. military, C.I.A. operatives, agents and scientists, that the U.S. military and the C.I.A. have been involved over the past century in Crimes Against Humanity, violations of the U.S. Constitution and the U.N. Charter on Human Rights, the Convention Against Genocide, the Geneva Convention, and the Nuremburg Principles.

History will record whether the survivors of this time faced these extreme dangers with heroism and justice, or allowed the secret police and elitists to overrun the entire planet.
