Survive the Village

Survive the Village

Welcome to the most highly anticipated game on the RE4 Board... Survive the Village! Kudos goes to Hunu for doing the first version of STV that inspired me to take over and do this one. I almost feel as if I put too much time into this... Heh... Special Kudos goes to Seymour Natus for helping me to get this all set up. With that out of the way... Time for

The Ground Rules
First and Foremost, this is a game and is supposed to be fun. If at anytime you think I may be being unfair to you or you have a general gripe, post in the Researcher's Topic and I'll be sure to work things out with you. I mean, I don't want to piss off the people that are going to keep my game running, right?

Second of all, I <3 Umbrella so Umbrella will be in control of this village. RE4 this game is not. I assure you. Also, I'll use sparadic terms and such that I hope you know such as </file> which of course means, end file. If you don't know what it means, just ask and I'll tell ya. Also be on the lookout for my bad jokes and puns.

I highly encourage you to get into your character and to do a bit of roleplaying. It isn't necessary, but it lets everyone get to know your character better. However, don't expect everything that everything you rp about to be taken as cannon [fact]. For example, you can't say *finds three double barrel shotguns and a rocket pack*. Also, try not to talk to someone unless they are in the same room as you. Finally, try to keep things as real as possible. I know, this is a world full of zombies and such, but wielding a shark with a laser beam attached to it's forehead kinda ruins the game.

Do with the NPCs [Non-Playable Characters] that you find as you wish. They are there for your pleasure. Just remember that they be more helpful alive then dead. You can question them about anything and they will answer [in my posts of course] to the best of their knowledge. However, if a shopkeeper won't sell you some ammo, and you have one bullet left, you can shoot him in the head an take the ammo. Like I said, I'll work around the NPCs as you toy with them. Just remember, if you kill a NPC, don't go treking back through the area unarmed... They may be infected... And not stay dead for long...

I don't play favorites. Simple as that. For some areas, I have set a certain number of times that that area can be visited before there is an attack. It is all based on luck... Just hope you've found a weapon by then... There is one room that is a "safe area" of sorts that there will never be an attack in: The Welcoming Room of the Inn.

When taking your turn, you can:
Move to a different area: ie, Go to Church
Examine/Pick up an item or area: ie, Examine hole, take handgun
Pretty much do what you damn well please, in the scope of reality, but try to limit your actions in each turn so I can update you further on what you have seen/done/picked up and make it official.

Anything that can be examined further/picked up/used in some way will be bolded and surrounded with #'s. Example #a hole in the wall#. Other places you can go from your current room will be italicized and surrounded with @'s. Example @Room 001@. The exception to this is when I give location list... where I will just list all the locations you can go to. (Would've guessed, right?) Anytime I have your character speak/think when reading a file it will be surrounded by *'s. Example, *What the hell is this guy thinking?!*

Please, please, please don't jump from one area to another before I've updated you and don't take items that don't exist. Also, when ending your post, I'd appreciate if you'd post your current status so I don't have to do too much searching, in this format: [Yes, AZ I am pimping your format. Hope you don't mind. \m/ >_< \m/]

Status:
Equipped:
Items:

Status refering to your current health (fine, okay, caution, danger, poisoned.) Yes folks, that does mean that no one will die from one attack! Hoo-Ray. I am the only one who can update your status. If you use a herb or healing item, I will update your status the next update. I just need you to keep posting it for me to eliminate time consuming searching.
Equipped refering to the weapon that you are currently holding and will use in case of an attack (one at a time unless otherwise noted). Can be anything that you find from a pointy stick to a Magnum Revolver.
Items refering to anything you have picked up so far (Files, extra weapons, etc.) All files will be put in the Files Topic, along with who has the ability to use the knowledge found in those files. To gain the knowledge of someone else's file, you will have to meet up with that person at some point, in the same room, and ask them about what they have learned. You can do this without it being part of your turn. Don't worry, I'll see it and know that you have gained the knowledge of those files.

No one starts with anything, except a map of the Village, and a notebook/pen combo for recording anything of intrest. Oh, the Umbrella Co. has given you a small bonus for coming so early, so you have $500 in your wallet, in case you need to buy from/bribe someone.

If and when you are attacked, you will have to take offensive or defensive measures in your next post. Take advantage of everything I use in the room description. If I say there is a table in the room, use the table to block of your would-be-attacker and then plug some rounds into him or swipe him with your melee weapon. By how well you defend yourself will determine how much damage you will take (if any.) If you find any herbs (no not THOSE herbs) you can save them for use at anytime you are hurt. And we'll go REmake style and say that everyone has the ability to mix herbs. (Stupid Billy and his no herb mixing skills *shakes fist*)

Oh yeah, when doing a section of the story for everyone I'll probably use second person [you], and character specific updates will be done in third person [he, she, it]. At some points I will speak for your charcters in some updates if I think it is necessary, but trust me, I don't want to hijack your characters in any way. I just need it for storyline development. Okay? Okay.

Holy crap that's a lot of info... Ahem. Anyway, if I think of anything else I'll put it in the General Rules and Info topic, where a copy of all of this will go. I hope I can do you guys well by creating a good enough story to keep you intrested. I myself will be assuming the role of Dr. Kris Karter, the head researcher of "The Village." That being said, good luck everyone, and lets see who will... Survive the Village

Special Note: I gaurantee at least one update per 24 hours. Probably more.

The Story-

You open your eyes to the sound of a mechanical dong... Soon after a voice comes over the speaker overhead.

"This is your captain speaking. We will be reaching our destination shortly. The weather is cloudy and about 72 degrees. We aren't expecting rain, but there will be heavy cloud cover for most of the day. It's been a pleasure flying you today, and I thank you for flying... Umbrella Air."

You rub your eyes to make things less blurry... You have been sleeping for almost the entire flight. You look down at your tray table and see a package of airline peanuts and a small stack of documents that hadn't been there before you went to sleep. You pop open the bag of peanuts and begin reading the papers in front of you, starting with the cover letter:

File #3- Welcoming Letter
8/27/04
To our newest researchers:

Congratulations on being chosen to come and work here in the Umbrella Corporation's newest facility town that we have aptly named: "The Village." Out of the nearly 25,000 applicants, you 16 are the best that Umbrella had to offer. The Village is on a penninsula in Spain, and is fenced in on the fourth side by a barbed-wired fence with gun turrets. This is only a safety measure in order to keep outsiders out, as the experiments going on inside the Village are highly top secret. For your safety, please do not attempt to leave The Village on the ground as you may be become a failed specimen. Sorry, occupational humor. The Village is a fully functioning town as you can see by the attached map, but we allow no contact with the outside world, as per your contracts. There is but one emergency radio inside the Research Facility, but only use that in extreme emergencies. The radio in the Left Tower is only used to contact the flights coming in and out of the Airstrip. We will let you get settled in for a few days before giving you your keycards to the the Research Center and assigning you to your jobs and houses. For the time being, please familiarize yourself with the Village, and make arrangements at the Inn to get you a room for a few days. I hope you will all soon become a very personal part of the Umbrella Family.

Doctor Kristopher Karter, Head Researcher
</file>

Ugh. Too much smiles and giggles for you. But hey, it's a six figure job and it's easy for you, so what right do you have to complain? Although that line about the gun turrets does make you a little uneasy... It's almost as if they are trying to keep everyone in, instead of keeping anything out. A chill runs up your spine, but you just try to shrug it off. Everything is going to be alright, Umbrella is the largest Corporation in the world. It wouldn't let anything happen to it's own people... right? But there was the Raccoon City incident... Umbrella denied responsiblity in that but... A definitive answer to what actually happened there was never released. You never did feel good about that... You try to forget your worries for a few moments, and flip to the next page in the documents. It's a passenger list that has the names of all 16 of the new researchers. You glance over it quickly, taking note of your name on the list, and smiling at that:

Finally, you take a look at the last page in the packet. It unfolds to reveal the map of The Village. There are little symbols all over the map with letters that lead to a section on the bottom of the map that has a description of the area. You take this all in, as you have a feeling that you'll need to get quickly acquainted with the Village before you get assigned to your job...

File #5- "The Village" Map

A) Airstrip- Where all outgoing flights begin and all incoming flights end. This is the equivalent of a small airport. The fence surrounding the fourth side of the Village is but a few hundred yards from here. It is on the SW side of the village.

B) Left Tower- Aptly named because it is to the left of the Airstrip. Used mostly for monitoring the flights coming into and leaving the Airstrip. Has a gun turret on the top protecting the fence.

C) Right Tower- Aptly named because it is to the right of the Airstip. Used mostly as a office to govern the ordering and distribution of supplies needed for the Marketplace, Inn, Hospital, and Pub. Has a gun turret on the top protecting the fence.

D) Warehouse- North of the airstrip and towers, it is a storage center with supplies for the Marketplace, Inn, Hospital, and Pub.

E) Farm House/Farm- Slightly NE of the Warehouse, the Farm is used for the homegrowing of some food supplies in the village. Also has an array of livestock including cows and chickens. There is a small farm house on the farm that is the home of farmer's family that tends to the land.

F) Houses- Far to the North of the Airstrip is a section of housing in the Village. House 100, House 200, House 300, and House 400 are here for those researchers and families who chose not to have an on-base apartment in the research facility or do not have the credentials to have an on-base apartment.

G) Marketplace- On the most NW of the Village, overlooking the ocean is the marketplace, for all your purchasing needs. There is three main stores in the marketplace: The Grocery Store for food/toiletries/etc, The Hardware Store for tools/firearms for hunting/etc, and the General Store for just about everything else to include books and music.

H) Ye Ol' Village Inn- Directly east of the farm is the Inn, the third largest building in the Village. The Inn has several rooms available for new researchers who need a room until they are assigned an apartment, and also for husbands who have been told to sleep on the couch. The Inn also has a pool and jacuzzi for relaxation. It also has a door that leads directly to the Pub.

I) The Village Idiot aka The Pub- If you want to become severely intoxicated after a long day of DNA splicing, this is your place. Aptly named "The Village Idiot" because... well... have you ever seen a drunk person? This is the most lively place on Saturday nights.
*Hey... Tomorrow IS Saturday... Heh...*

J) The Village Church- South of the Inn/Pub is the only Church in the Village. It caters to every religion that is currently practiced in the Village. It also overlooks the Graveyard. It is mostly open on Sundays, but anyone is welcome at anytime.

K) The Graveyard- This is where we come to remember and mourn our faithful researchers who have died giving everything they had in the name of research. This is sacred ground that should never be defiled.
*...A graveyard? The Village has only been in operation for about a year... How many people could have died? The area on the map designated for the graveyard is almost as big as the church!! I hope this thing isn't to scale...

L) Hospital- East of both the Church and Inn, this is the only medical facility in the Village. It really isn't so much a hospital then it is a glorified doctor's office. There is a fully functional ER and OR, just in case. We call it a Hospital just so it sounds bigger then it is. Come here for everything from a cough, to a broken arm, or even a virus.

M) Research Facility- The Research Facility lies on the most NE part of the Village, also overlooking water. This is where most of the Village Employees work day in and day out. You need a keycard to deactivate the electric fence surrounding the facility and a separate keycard to unlock the front door. These keys are user specific. You are not allowed to discuss the events that transpire inside the facility with ANYONE who does not have clearence for the facilty. Each user's keycard will only allow them access to the levels of the lab that are required for their job. Loaning your keycard to anyone is in violation of your contract and you will be terminated on the spot.
*Electric fence? Wow...*

N) The Karter Mansion- This is the home of the head researcher of the Village, the respected and distinguished Dr. Kristopher Karter. The Mansion is surrounded by it's own barbed wire fence, and no one is allowed in without the formal request of the Doctor himself.

O) [This area of text is blacked out. On the map corresponding to this text there is a picture of a building with handcuffs. A prison perhaps?]
*Why would the village need a prison?*

P) Forest- The SE most area of the Village is reserved for the Forest. This area has been left as it was when the Village was founded. This area is widely used for hunting, meditating, and picnics.
</file>

Wow... What a place. You know you won't be able to see everything there is to see in one day. However, you are really eager to try. You tuck away the packet of papers and finish your peanuts. The plane begins it's decent and you look out of your window to get a good look at the village. The overcast sky doesn't do the place much justice and the place looks dead. Everyone must be staying inside because of the weather. The plane touches down with and brakes with no trouble at all. You and your fellow researchers grab your small suitcases of clothes and file out of the plane. As you leave, you pass the open cockpit door and hear the pilot on the radio with what you assume is the Left Tower.

"That's just not ethical! You can't just expect me to leave them here! Dr. Karter! If something is wrong in The Village I just can't leav-- Yes, I know you pay my checks. No, I love my job... ...Fine. I'll refuel and take off shortly. Yes sir. ...Yes sir..."

The captain looks up from the radio with a blank stare. He sees you looking at him and quickly puts on a smile.

"Thank you for flying Umbrella Air! I'm sure you'll love your time here in the Village!"

Confused, you step off of the plane and onto the airstrip with your fellow researchers. The captain gets out of plane, goes about refueling the plane and in 15 minutes he and the plane is no longer visible in the overcast sky. The 16 of you have been left on the Airstrip... alone. There is a banner at the end of the airstip that reads: Welcome Newcomers! The Village awaits!, along with a few balloons. However, there is no welcome party. There is really NO activity whatsoever... It gives you an uneasy feel. You, as well as many of the other researchers pull out the map from the packet you were given on the flight. Since no one has come to you, you are going to have to go to them.

Welcome to the Village

*At some points these may look the same, and they are, but read everybody's to see how that person reacts to the events going on around them...*

ljfromsa- Leaving behind most of the other researchers, ljfromsa heads of to make the fairly long trek to the inn. He looks over his shoulder to see Turducken and GoldenSunMasterYami following him, most likely heading to the same place. As ljfromsa walks through the village, he sees no activity, no signs of life... Quite frankly it is starting to freak him out. ljfromsa passes the farm house and sees the Inn up in the distance. It is a very large building, almost abnormal for the purpose it is supposed to serve. ljfromsa walks up to the Inn's door and opens it slowly. He even holds the door open to allow Turducken and GoldenSunMasterYami to pass through first. What a gentlemen. Entering the Inn gives a warm feeling to ljfromsa and his earlier fears vanish almost instantly. Except that... No one is here. Not a soul. The door shuts and no longer then two secomnds later, Seymour Natus comes in, kind of angry that you didn't hold the door for him. ljfromsa calls out for someone, anyone really, but there is no repsonse. The main room of the inn is packed with sofas, chairs, posters, #magazines#, everything a inn should have. On the reception counter there is a #bell#, presumably to get you some service... Looking around it seems like you can go to @Room 001@, @Room 002@, @Pool Room@, @Game Room@, @Second Floor Hallway@, and @Basement@ from here.

Turducken- Seeing ljfromsa just up and take off from the airstrip inspired Turducken to quickly follow suit. The less then spectacular welcoming party kind of makes him uneasy at least. He doesn't say much on the trek to the inn, but he does realize that GoldenSunMasterYami has also joined in the walk to the inn. When he gets to the Inn, ljfromsa holds the door open for him and GSMY, and he enters. Entering the Inn gives a warm feeling to ljfromsa and his earlier fears vanish almost instantly. Except that... No one is here. Not a soul. The door shuts and no longer then two secomnds later, Seymour Natus comes in, kind of angry that ljfromsa didn't hold the door for him. ljfromsa calls out for someone, anyone really, but there is no repsonse. Funny, you were about to call out for someone... The main room of the inn is packed with sofas, chairs, posters, #magazines#, everything a inn should have. GoldenSunMasterYami- That flight was horrible. You didn't sleep all that well, the weather was horrible, there was turbulance... and you only got ONE bag of airline peanuts... In the midst of his anger over the peanuts, he fail to realize that both ljfromsa and Turducken have left the airstrip in the direction of the inn. Grabbing his stuff, GSMY jogs a bit to catch up to the other two, but doesn't say much to them. The trip to the inn was pretty uneventful, minus the fact that Village was incredibly silent. Upon the group's arrival to the inn, ljfromsa displays the uncanny ability of a gentlemen and holds the door open for you and Turducken. How sweet. You look over at Turducken to see that he has his mouth open, as if HE were going to call out for someone... Seymour Natus- Very disturbed by the flight, Seymour spends several minutes trying to gather his thoughts. By the time he has collected himself, ljfromsa, Turducken, and GSMY have already departed towards the inn. Seymour follows, but makes no real effort to catch up with the group. When he reaches the inn, Seymour watches ljfromsa hold the door for the other two researchers, but then calmly walks in himself. This really angers you and you sprint for the door and swing it open. ljfromsa calls out for someone, anyone really, but there is no repsonse. You stare a hole through ljfromsa, but he doesn't seem to notice... The main room of the inn is packed with sofas, chairs, posters, #magazines#, everything a inn should have. Sorry Seymour, GSMY got the mag before you did:

GoldenSunMasterYami- GSMY take charge of the situation and begins to look around. He examines the portraits on the walls, the waxed wooden floor, the marble countertop... He leans over the counter and nearly gags at the sight he sees. It is a mess... Torn documents, a broken chair... And a pool of blood. Frantically, GSMY rings the bell to try to attract the attention of anyone! However, the bell doesn't make a "ding" like on would assume it would. As a matter of fact, it is quite muffled, as if the pin was hitting something else inside of the bell. Thoughts racing through his mind, GSMY just points to the counter and doesn't say a word... He goes and sits down on a chair and puts his head in his hands... He looks up and over to see a magazine from the Umbrella Corporation. It has a bookmarked page, so GSMY of course opens to that page and tries to read... something to get his mind off of what he just saw...

File #6- Umbrella Magazine

Umbrella's newest Research town, named "The Village," is quickly becoming the fastest growing asset in the Umbrella family. Located in Western Europe, The Village has already produced research data years ahead of it's time. The Village is headed by Doctor Kristopher Karter, the young 27 year old protege that has spent time working in all of Umbrella's top labs, to include our now defunct Raccoon City Labratory. The Village is a fully functioning city, complete with taverns, markets, a inn, and even a hospital. In the 13 months of it's existence there has only been one major accident to date, with the deaths of 45 crew members due to a----

GoldenSunMasterYami- GSMY passes around the magazine for all to see. He's a good man not to horde that information. While the others are looking at the magazine, GSMY combs the walls of the main room looking for anything out of the ordinary. Unfortunately for him, all he finds is a spider web and some chewed gum. However he does strike gold when he opens the broken bell on the counter. Spliting the bell in two, a key falls out onto the counter. GSMY examines it a bit closer and he sees the words "Game Room" etched into the base of the key. The Inn Keeper must have stashed it there before he... *shudder* The broken bell lies in pieces on the counter. Looking around it seems like you can go to @Room 001@, @Room 002@, @Pool Room@, @Game Room@, @Second Floor Hallway@, and @Basement@ from here.

I look at the magazine and pass it along. Concerned now, I ignore my aching feet and empty stomach.

"Tur, you coming to check out upstairs or what?" Seymour asks me.

I shake my head slightly. "No, you go on ahead. There's something I wanna go see about."

With that said, I leave the Inn and start off, using my map, fot Kristopher's place. As the head guy around here, he has to know what happened.

ljfromsa- lj decides that he has seen enough here at the inn and leaves without saying a word. He begins his trek to the housing section of the village, which is a few minutes NW of the Inn. The air is muggy and the clouds refuse to let up. lj finds himself cutting through a sparse patch of trees before reaching the houses. He scans a few until he comes to "House 001." He goes to walk through the door, but not surprisingly... It's locked. Furious, lj kicks the door, but only manages to stub his toe. Poor toe. Lj sighs and looks around. There are a few more houses, but the marketplace is also extremtly close to here. Lj pulls out his map and ponders...

Turducken- After reading the magazine passed around by GSMY, Turducken wants to get right to the head of the problem. Leavin Seymour to explore the Inn with GSMY, Tur heads right for the Karter Mansion, directly north of the Inn. In but a few minutes Tur is standing in front a large mansion, bigger then any building Tur has seen so far in the Village. The only problem? A barbed wire fence runs all the way around the complex here, except for the side that borders the water. Damn... Tur was about to turn back when a man steps out from the large double doors of the mansion. He isn't a very tall man, about 5'5", has blonde hair, and is wearing the obligatory long white flowing researcher's jacket. He is also holding a firearm, and is pointing it at you. You jump behind a nearby tree, and all you hear is a laugh... and the voice of that man...

"Oh, so you are still alive! You must be from the flight that just came in... Well, good luck to you. This wasn't exactly the welcoming party I had planned for you... but it'll most certainly have to do. Just one thing. Don't try to come into MY house if you value what life you have left... Inferior Being..."

The last thing you hear is the sound of a door slamming. What the hell is going on here?! You have to get out of here, and fast before he comes back out here with a vengeance. The closest things are the @Inn@ to the south and the @Marketplace@ to the west...

I don't give it much thought. This man is clearly insane. Luckily, he's headed back inside for the moment, giving me the chance I need to get away. I can't fight him. He has a gun. I do not.

I'd better let the others know about this. I'll head back to the Inn.

Three things from the General Rules and Info:
1)There is one room that is a "safe area" of sorts that there will never be an attack in: The Welcoming Room of the Inn.
2) I highly encourage you to get into your character and to do a bit of roleplaying. It isn't necessary, but it lets everyone get to know your character better. However, don't expect everything that everything you rp about to be taken as cannon [fact].
3)When taking your turn, you can:
Move to a different area: ie, Go to Church
Examine/Pick up an item or area: ie, Examine hole, take handgun
Pretty much do what you damn well please, in the scope of reality, but try to limit your actions in each turn so I can update you further on what you have seen/done/picked up and make it official.

I can't tell when you are rping and when you are taking your turn Seymour. :P

GoldenSunMasterYami- GSMY and Tur head over to the game room's door as Seymour bursts through the door for the second time in less then an hour. Seymour rushes right upstairs without a word. When Seymour comes back down, GSMY invites him to join the group in exploring the game room. GSMY uses the key and of course, it fits perfectly. Seeing no other use for the Game Room Key, GSMY puts it back on the marble countertop before heading into the game room. As he, Seymour, and Tur walk into the room, it is actually a nice sight. There is a #pool table# with a #pool cue# and a #eight ball# on it. The room is covered in video game and movie posters, and there are even a few arcade games set up in the back of the room. Everyone's favorites of course. The Game Room is also home to a #cabinet# which must hold things like board games and the like. Feeling relieved and uneasy at the fact that this room is empty of life, GSMY, Seymour, and Tur set out to explore this room.

I mean, Tur didn't have they key and he wanted to see what was inside the room so... what better way to get in then to follow the man with the key? GSMY catches Seymour as he comes back down the stairs and invites him to join them. As he, Seymour, and GSMY walk into the room, it is actually a nice sight. There is a #pool table# with a #pool cue# and a #eight ball# on it. The room is covered in video game and movie posters, and there are even a few arcade games set up in the back of the room. GoldenSunMasterYami- GSMY walks over to the pool table and picks up the 8 Ball... Only, it's not a normal 8 Ball. It's one of those novelty "Magic 8 Balls" where you ask a question, shake it up, and looks at the bottom for an answer. Quite useless really, but what do expect from a game room? GSMY drops the #Magic 8 Ball# back on the table and heads for the cabinet. He opens it up to find... Board Games.

"What the **** was so important that this room was locked?!"

GSMY goes on a tirade, throwing boxes of games across the room, their contents spilling out on the floor. Soon the cabinet is bare, and literally hundreds of game pieces and instructions lie on the floor... But there is a #scrap of paper# on the floor under the Monopoly game board that doesn't look like it came from a game box...

GoldenSunMasterYami- Calming down a bit from his unholy tirade, GSMY bends down and slides the piece of paper out from under the Monopoly board. It's only half of a piece of paper, the bottom half, but it seems to be from the Inn Keeper...

File #7- Safe Combination, Bottom Half

Whoever built this forsaken safe is a mad man! A mad man! I don't have that much time left and I NEED what is in that safe! So much depends on if I can get in there... I have all the clues, but I can't even get passed the first part! AH! The second half of the safe is controled by a turn dial with numbers from Zero to Sixty. I've been told that there are six numbers, and that the man who built this damned thing was big on two things... Mathematics and Video Games... Great, I'm good at neither. Oh well, I at least have all the clues... I mean, it can't be too hard... Right?

1st #: Squall and Rinoa headline this epic adventure.
2nd #: The highest prime number the dial can handle.
3rd #: sqrt(#1 + #4 + #5 +#6)
4th #: Assuming the control sick as one button, the total number of pushable buttons on an N64 Controller.
5th #: (Pieces of the Triforce)!
6th #: (#1 * #4)/(#5)

...I'm never going to get this open. I give up... The only thing I can do now is lock myself away and hope that THAY don't find me. I hope that whoever finds this will remember me and what I've done if they can get into that safe. God have mercy on our souls...

Charlie Greene
</file>

Whoa... This is so much information at one time... Safe? What was the Inn Keeper so afraid of? Where IS the inn keeper?! GSMY goes to check out the pool table after pocketing the note, but all he sees is Seymour pull a small gun out of the top left pocket... Lucky...

Seymour Natus- Disgusted at the magic 8 ball, Seymour too throws it back on the table. No love for the 8 ball. He is about to walk away when something shiny catches his eye in the left pocket. He reaches in and pulls out a small gun that looks as if it could hold no more then two shots. Seymour pops it open to see that he is correct, it has but two shots. But hey, this is a self defense Magnum so it should be more then plenty. Seymour beams at his finding until he catches the side of the gun which reads "Charlie."

"Charlie? Who's Charlie?"

Seymour just shrugs it off and begins to practice his aim... He thinks that he is going to need it...

Towards the end he reaches the welcome banner and balloons. Half the balloons aren't even filled with enough helium to keep them up. Being Angry at being abandoned and in a Sadistic mood, MF pops all of the half deflated balloons... To his surprise, #a piece of paper# was hidden in one of the balloons, weighing it down. The paper falls to the landing strip. MF looks back at all of the other researchers who are just standing there, huddled together like a flock of sheep. He just sighs...
