The Carigara webpage was originally conceived in 1996 immediately after the creation of the PNP WebPages. Some of my classmates who were in Metro Manila were supportive of the idea. Originally the contents would only include the batch of '68 and the activities after the hosting of our 25th Alumni Homecoming.
Unfortunately, the author was lost in the hassles and bustles of the internet and other surfing and web pages stuff that time was always lacking. Creating the Filcybers Connection (FCBC) and the daily and nightly chat with the members further took my time. But that was really a
very enjoying days of chats and surfing as it was also rewarding since the FCBC and the GUARDIANS Brotherhood Inc was able to have some valuable outreach program that benefited the indigenous people of La Huerta, Parañaque City.

On the other hand, many activities were concentrated on the GUARDIANS Brotherhood Inc., when I became its Chairman in 1997 thus aggravating the lack of time for the Batch of '68 Page.
Losing the telephone connection in 1999 as a result of transferring our home address totally lost all connections even that of updating the existing pages until just recently when after 4 years of waiting, a new PLDT connection was installed in our residence. And so again here I am back at the usual pastime. |
