Name : Jomtien Fishing Park Location : Jomtien Beach Road Soi 14, Pattaya Thailand How to get there : Anywhere in Pattaya, just tell the mini-bus (songthaew) to take you to Jomtien Fishing Park. Fares is around 80-100baht. Fishing Charges : 100 baht per own personal rod. 200baht for renting house rods. Services : Fishing Guides are provided for you if u are not sure about this kinda fishing. Variety of local thai food and drinks are available. Fishes caught can either be cooked there or Bar-B-Q immediately. Fishing Competition : Every Saturday and Sunday from 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs. Rates for competition is 100 baht per rod irregardless of house rod or personal rod. Prizes for competition fishing may varies, Please kindly check with the organiser during the actual day. p.s :(Till now, This is still my favourite fishing ground)

Small - Fishes Fishing Pond (Non Competition Pond)

Jomtien Fishing Park Competition Pond

This is the pond for families . Fishes inside the pond consists of Pacu, Tilapia, Giant Mekong Catfish, Carp, Snakehead, Red Tilapia, Catfish, Sucker Fish, etc. You can use your personal rod to fish or house rod, which is only a long bamboo rod with a line. Fishing in this small pond is free EXCEPT that the fishes you want to bring home, you gotta pay a charge at 80baht per kilogram of fishes irregardless of whatever fishes you get! Note :  No competition is held at the small pond
