Me...myself.... & I

Well....huh...... I'm Sanjay Rozario Antony Babu. Often keep wondering do I need such a long name. I was Baptised Sanjay Rozario and Antony Babu is my Surname. So cant drop any of the names.

I was born exactly 10 years after the famous moon-landing of Neil Amstrong. In 1969 it was 'one small step and a big leap for mankind'.... but after a decade it was 'just one birth and a big disaster for the...universe'. But yea... hold on.... I wasn't supposed to be born on that day... I was an early bird right from birth.... born ahead of the time set for me..... well.... as you would have figured out 'I'm always ahead of the time'.

My Mummy used to tell me that I hardly used to talk as a kid, but I am making it up now.

My Mummy was a Bank officer and my Daddy was an Engineer with Tamil Nadu Water and Drainage Board. Got an elder brother who is more of my mentor (well just indirectly hitting on the quarrels we used to have as kids).

Although born in the over crowded St. George's Town local of Madras, my family soon moved to rather more serene locality of Kodungaiyur. Kodungaiyur was so nationalised that anything goes wrong in any niche of India, it would show up there. Shops closing down and flying soda bottles were what it used to be. But well .... now with what I have heard its changed a lot, with busy streets and new malls, like most of Chennai.

When I was a teenager my family moved to a real nice place called Kumaran nagar (of course in Chennai). Love my house there. We named it 'Babu Cottage'. Its my cosy nice home... the only place on earth I would call MY HOME.

The current inmates of the house includes Mummy, Anna (my brother), Annie (my sis-in-law) and cute little Shreya. But in spite of absolute human majority, the KING of the house is the anarchist Don Kigsley Butterbouy, the canine king with the devils own charm. Don't mess with him.... well if you do.... don't blame me for your missing limbs.

At present I'm doing my PhD in  University of Newcastle, UK. For a more professional CV click here.
