Paraguay Semi-Postals

1930 Issue

On July 22, 1930 three values produced by the Government Printing Office (Talleres de Valores Oficiales) in Asuncion were issued in an unknown quantity. These were a 1.50 P + 50c in gray-violet, deep rose, and dark blue.

A proof of each color is known on a yellowish paper.

In 1932 the issue was used to produce an essay by overprinting it in black on the gray-violet and deep rose colors, and in carmine on the deep blue issue.

I do not record any multiples or covers with this issue.

1930 Issue

Issued on 27 November 1930 in an unknown quantity. The sheet size is 50 (5 x 10). The perforation is 12.

The only variety I note is papermakers’ watermark "VENCEDOR BOND."
