This is a simple game that I generally use with younger children. I also use it as a warm up game with older kids but with them it can becomes stale very quickly as it's to simple to engage them for long. Once they know the game it becomes impossible to win or lose. To play the game draw a large hash sign on the board (#). This will give you a grid of nine squares. Then draw a circle and an X shaped cross off to the side somewhere. This is to indicate the method of marking to be used by the teams. When a student answers correctly they come to the board and makes the mark for their team in one of the squares. The object of the game is to make a row of three squares, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. |
