Jesus carries His Cross

Jesus with Pilate Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? (John 18:33 KJV)

Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? (John 18:34 KJV)

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? (John 18:35 KJV)

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36 KJV)

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. (John 18:37 KJV)

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. (John 18:38 KJV)

But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? (John 18:39 KJV)

Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. (John 18:40 KJV)

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. (John 19:1 KJV)

And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, (John 19:2 KJV)

And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. (John 19:3 KJV)

Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. (John 19:4 KJV)

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! (John 19:5 KJV)

Jesus carries His Cross And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. (Luke 23:26 KJV)

And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. (Luke 23:27 KJV)

And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. (Luke 23:35 KJV)

And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, (Luke 23:36 KJV)

And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. (Luke 23:37 KJV)

And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. (Luke 23:38 KJV)

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. (Luke 23:39 KJV)

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? (Luke 23:40 KJV)

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. (Luke 23:41 KJV)

And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. (Luke 23:42 KJV)

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (Luke 23:43 KJV)
