A sad day on the FEC. In April 1987, a northbound FEC train stopped at Dupont due to a dragging equipment detection. A second section for unknown reasons slammed into the first, killing two crewmen, on the second train. In this view we can see FEC #423 with the cab destroyed, as Flagler County units work the scene.
