Henry Brewster

*sighs and looks over the papers* All right, first things first, what's your real name? First and last.:

*glances back at him* Henry Brewster. Wh-? *realizes what's going on, and turns to face him*
*scribbles it down on the paper* Next.. um, do you have a nickname? And if you do, how'd you get it?:
Nope, I'm afraid not. Haven't been around long enough to get one, I suppose. And the only nicknames I've been pegged with by my family I dare not repeat. *grins a little, impishly, then rolls his eyes*
*nods a bit* When's your birthday and how old are you and all?:
I'm 17. Birthday's on August the second. *smirks* It's a wonder I've made it this far. *Henry is an adventurous person. More like misadventurous...*
*smirks a little* Next is looks so.. tell me what you look like, all right? *rolls his eyes* Humor me...:
*looks suspicious* New regulations or something? I don't see how what I look like has to do with me paying the rent. Ah well. No point in asking why, eh? *shrugs it off* Well, I'm about five foot nine, with an average build, light brown shaggy hair *pauses, furrowing his brows* which I really have to get around to cutting... *snaps back*, dark brown eyes, and unlike my sister, I'm capable of tanning. *grins slightly* She goes beat red after ten minute in the sun. I just go darker. Hmh. I guess that's it, really. I don't have any scars or odd markings or anything. *Henry is relatively good-looking, but nothing to write home about. He has a very expressive face, and he's rarely found without some form of a smile, whether it be of genuine happiness, or an ill-disguised smirk*
Hmm.. *writes down some of that then looks back up* What kind of person are you? What's your personality like and all that?:
Non-existant? *shakes head a bit, with a slight smirk* I could tell ya anything, and you would have no way to prove me right or wrong. I'm rarely here. *chuckles* Nah, I'm not a bad guy, really. I'm just kind of... invisible. 'Round here, anyways. *Henry has a tendancy towards being rather antisocial, or at least it seems that way. He's rarely around the lodging house, and really hasn't made much of an effort to fit in. His reasons for this are somewhat unclear* I'm normal enough, I guess. For the most part, I'm anything but serious. *laughs* It irritates my sister, but who cares? *Henry likes adventure, mischief, women and ignoring the truth. He's more naive than he'd like to be, but is trying very hard to change that around (much to his elder sister's dismay...).*
*raises an eyebrow then grins* If you say so. *teasing, of course* Okay, so do you have any friends around here?:
*shakes his head a little* Yeah, but no one you'd know. Nobody around here, really. I haven't exactly taken the time to get to know anyone... *shrugs* Don't get me wrong, it's just... *trails off, shaking his head dismissivly*
*nods some and taps the pen on the paper* And, uh, you got anyone special in your life right now? *grins* You know what I mean.:
*shakes his head, laughingly* You kiddin'? Gertrude, that's my sister, would wring my neck! *gets a sly look on his face* Not that she hasta find out... *lets out a short laugh* It's funny, though. All the girls I've seen here are very pretty . With the exception of my toad of a sister, of course. *smirks* I swear, must be something in the water to cause all these great-looking genetic anomalies.
So, you got any family? *scratches his head with the end of the pen* Mother, father.. sisters or brothers? Anything like that?:
*sighs heavily, though not in sadness* Man, you got that right. There's Ma, Pa and my nine brothers and sisters. I'm second oldest. Trude's older, then there's Ruth, Tom, Elsie, Artie, Robert, Hazel, Mae and Jamie, in that order. No other family 'round here, though. The rest of our family's down in Massachusetts, for the most part, anyways. Ma and Da hauled 'Trude and I down here when I was, what? Two? The farm -hey, don't knock it- went under, and my folks needed to put bread on the table, so we came here. *shakes head* Sorry, I can be really long winded. Obviously, eh? Stretching a one word answer into my life story. *grins a bit, embarrassedly*
*sighs, looking at the next question* Now you don't gotta say, but it'd be nice if you at least gave me something to write down... how'd you come to live at this fine place? *small smile*:
*looks somewhat relieved* Well, if my last answer didn't cover it... The money. 'Trude and I came to work because we all needed the money. It makes more sense than for us to be livin' at home *shrugs*. We send back what we can, and everybody's happy. The bills get paid, and I get some freedom. It all works out...
*nods and scans over the application* I think that's it... anything else you wanna add?:
No, I think that covers it. You were lucky to catch me. I was on my way out. *is forever 'on his way out'* I'll be seein' ya. *slight sarcastic, good natured grin*
