And if you do, how'd you get it?: *nods* Yeah, it's Glint. *smiles a bit* It's what my Pa called me since I was little. He said I was his tiny, bright light. *smiles* Before he left, he gave me this... *points out the necklace* *it's a honey colored gem on a shorter silver chain* He also said I sparkled like a gem, and that I was someone who ought to be treasured. *smile widens a bit* *nods a bit* When's your birthday and how old are you and all?: *is a bit more comfortable* I'm 16, and I was born November 30. *smirks a little* Next is looks so.. tell me what you look like, all right? *rolls his eyes* Humor me...: *smiles some then shrugs* Well, I have longer, straight hair, and it's a dark brown color. My eyes are a honey-brown color, and my Pa always said I was petit, 'cause I'm kind of short and skinny. *is about 5'4" and wears dark tan pants and a light tan shirt with the first couple of top buttons open, so you can always see her necklace, but it isn't too low* *clothing reflects eyes, so the unique color stands out* *extremely dislikes wearing dresses and skirts* Hmm.. *writes down some of that then looks back up* What kind of person are you? What's your personality like and all that?: Well, *glances around some thinking* I think I'm pretty nice. *smiles some* Or I hope so anyway. I'm a good listener, and I won't gab unless I feel like it's the right thing to do. I'm usually pretty outgoing once I get comfortable with my surroundings. *shrugs some* I guess that's it. *is insightful* *can be pushed to far and then can get pushy, and mouthy, but most of the time isn't one to cause trouble unless there is a substantial reason* *raises an eyebrow then grins* If you say so. *teasing, of course* Okay, so do you have any friends around here?: *shakes head* Not yet, but I'm hoping to get one soon, once I become more acquainted with everyone. *smiles* *nods some and taps the pen on the paper* And, uh, you got anyone special in your life right now? *grins* You know what I mean.: *laughs slightly* No, *glances down a moment then repeats* No. *smiles some* So, you got any family? *scratches his head with the end of the pen* Mother, father.. sisters or brothers? Anything like that?: *nods* Yeah, my Pa and my older brother. They went to... *thinks* Chicago. *nods some* Yeah, Chicago. They wanted to find some work, and thought it best to leave me here for now. *mom died in childbirth along with a younger sister* *smiles some, sadly* That's it *sighs, looking at the next question* Now you don't gotta say, but it'd be nice if you at least gave me something to write down... how'd you come to live at this fine place? *small smile*: *smiles some too* My Pa helped me find the place. *shrugs* My Pa and Jason, my brother, thought that I would survive best on my own by being a Newsgirl. They also thought that then I would live here and I wouldn't have to be lonely 'cause I could have friends and people to be with while they are away. *bites lip some*
