Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:
1)   1 1/2 cup Flour
2)   1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
3)   1 tsp. Cinnamon
4)   1/4 tsp. Salt
5)   1 Egg
6)   1 cup Sugar
7)   1/2 cup melted Butter
8)   1/4 cup Canola Oil
9)   1 tbs. Molassas
10) 1/4 cup Milk
11) 1 3/4 cup Oatmeal
12) 1/2 cup chopped Nuts (Walnuts are preferred)
13) 1/2 cup chopped Raisins

Preparation:
1)   Sift the first four ingredients together.
2)   Gradually add the remainder of the ingredients while stirring.
3)   Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for approximately 12 minutes or
       when the cookies are not soft to the touch.


Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
1)   1 1/4 cup soft Butter - 10 oz.
2)   2 cups Sugar
3)   2 Eggs
4)   2 tsp. Vanilla
5)   2 cups Flour
6)   3/4 cup Cocoa
7)   1 tsp. Baking Soda
8)   1/2 tsp. Salt
9)   1/2 cup choped Nuts (Walnuts preferred)

Preparation:
1)   Add the sugar eggs and vanilla to the butter and stir until thoroughly
        mixed.
2)   Sift the remainder of the ingredients (except the nuts) together and
       add to the butter mixture.
3)   Add the nuts.
4)   Cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 8 to 9 minutes.
5)   Cookies will puff up and then flatten out when cool.


Mom's Apple Crisp

The Filling
Ingredients:
1)   3 Apples (Granny Smith are good)
2)   1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3)   Lemon Juice
4)   Cinnamon

Preparation:
Toss the ingredients until apples are coated.

The Crisp
Ingredients:
1)   1 cup Flour
2)   3/4 cup Sugar
3)   1 tsp. Baking Powder
4)   Salt
5)   Cinnamon
6)   1/3 cup melted Butter
7)   1 Egg

Preparation:
1)   Mix the dry ingredients.
2)   Then add the eggs and 1/2 of the butter.
3)   Put the remainder of the butter on top of the crisp.

The final preparation
1)   Bake at 350 degrees or until deep golden brown and is bubbling.
