"Baby, Where the heck are you going?" A.J. asked pulling his car up beside Elise.
"I’m going home!" she cried. "I’m not wanted here." The thought then occurred to her that she didn’t know where she would go.
"What? But I want you here. Please don’t leave." he said afraid of losing this woman who he had been with for so long. He had never loved anyone quite like he loved her and now he was losing her.
"Nick hates me and you already said your career comes first." She said turning to the man in the car.
"What? Nick hates you where did you get that idea?" A.J. was almost ready to kill Nick for whatever he had done to Elise.
"A.J. he told me I was a trashy slut who only wanted you for your money." Elise looked down at her stomach and began to cry again.
"WHAT? I’m gonna kill him!" A.J. screamed. "Baby please come back home. I love you."
Elise turned to look in his eyes. She saw how sincere he was so she pulled herself into the passenger seat and allowed him to take her home. He watched her and wondered why she was up this early in the morning getting in a fight with Nick.
When they walked in the house Elise ran to the bathroom and threw up. A.J. grimaced as he listened. "NICK! I need to talk to you,” cried A.J.
When A.J. found him Nick was crumpled in a ball on the kitchen floor crying, surrounded by beer cans. "Dude why did you say that to… Hey what’s wrong?" A.J. said running in the kitchen and when he saw Nick he stopped him self mid-sentence.
"A.J." Nick said looking up, "I’m sorry I blew up. It’s just that last night Jessica broke up with me."
A.J. gasped. " So you get drunk right?” he said noticing the cans of beer. Nick lowered his head but A.J. reached out and embraced him. “Nick, I’m sorry."
As Elise stepped into the room half expecting to see Nick beaten to a pulp she found A.J. hugging him. "What’s going on?"
"Oh hey baby, you ok? Um Nick and Jessica broke up." A.J. said turning and hugging her.
She turned to Nick and gave him a hug. It seemed to surprise him and he smiled. "Forgive me? I didn’t mean it." He said as she stopped hugging him.
"Of course." she said winking at Nick as she turned to her boyfriend.
A.J. nodded and kissed her forehead. Elise then began to make breakfast. She made French toast and bacon. The two boys scarfed theirs down and asked for more. She laughed at them as they begged and of course she gave in and fed them till they were full.
When they finished they went to the living room and turned on the television. They watched some children’s cartoons and then the rest of the guys showed up. Leighanne and Kristin walked in behind them. Kristin carried her newborn baby girl. Immediately Elise ran to Kristin and smiled at the small child. "Kris’ I need to talk to you." Elise whispered nervously.
"Of course, um let me give Grace to Kev." She said quietly and handed her daughter to her husband who beamed. Then they walked out to the kitchen.
"Ok what’s the matter ‘Lise?" Kristin asked concerned.
"Um," Elise lowered her voice, "I think I might be pregnant."
Kristin was shocked. "Are you sure?"
"Well I’m going to the doctor tomorrow. Can you come?"
"Oh of course ‘Lise I’ll go. Oh I hope everything is ok." Kristin hugged her friend.
"Thank you." Elise said and walked back out to A.J.
"Baby I love you so much." He said and picked her up.
The rest of the guys laughed and A.J. winked at them. Kevin leaned over to Kristin as she sat down next to him and said quietly, "He’s gonna ask her to marry him."
Kristin jumped and sighed relived. Kevin looked at her weird but ignored her. He stared at his little girl who was at that moment being held by her uncle. Then he turned to Elise who was standing in A.J.’s arms. He noticed something different about her but he wasn’t sure what it was.
Within the next five minutes A.J. was down on one knee. "’Lise I love you with all my heart and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Please make me the happiest man alive." He pulled out a jewelry case and popped it open, inside was a gorgeous ring, it was a small silver ring with a dragon around it and on the top was a diamond. "Marry me baby."
Elise looked around at everyone in the room. This was her family; she then looked at Kristin and began to cry. She looked down at the man kneeling before her, "Of course baby."
A.J. leaped up and slipped the ring on her finger. As they kissed the rest of the guys cheered. Howie had even recorded it all on camera. Elise looked down at her stomach and A.J. kissed her forehead.
Kristin was crying and watched as Elise looked at her stomach. Kevin’s mind exploded. ‘Oh my god, ‘Lise is pregnant!’ his mind cried. He knew that look on ‘Lise’s face. She glowed like Kristin had. He pulled Kristin close and said softly, "She’s pregnant isn’t she?"
Kristin smiled at the man holding her "She thinks so." She whispered.
Kevin nodded and watched the couple in front of him kiss. A.J., after a few minutes, smiled and turned to his friends, "I DID IT!" he cried. They all began to laugh and they stood up one by one and congratulated the couple.
