"Jen! We’re going to Nick’s for a party on Saturday!" Howie yelled to her when he got off the phone with Nick.
Jen walked in and kissed him, "Good, I can’t wait to see everyone again. They were all so nice."
"They usually are, but we’ll have to watch what we say to ‘Lise. I hear pregnant women can be extremely cranky." Howie winked at Jen and hugged her.
"You had better be nice to her. You won’t get a kiss goodnight if you upset her." Jen lightly punched his stomach. "D-mister."
"Oh thanks Jen, is that supposed to be a compliment?"
"If you want it to be…" Jen taunted him.
"Your mean, you hurt Howie’s feelings. Boo hoo." Howie acted like he was crying. "Aw poor baby." She lifted his shirt slightly and kissed his abs. "Mm it’s sweet and it’s D. I guess there’s more to the name than you’d like to tell."
"Jen…" Howie scolded. "Not right now, we have to get ready for Leigh’s premier." As he walked out of the room he turned on the TV, out of habit.
"OH MY GOD! It’s A.J. and Elise!" Jen cried while Howie was in his room putting on his pants. He ran out immediately.
He came into the living room with one leg in his pants and the other out. "Did he just tell them he was married?"
"Yup… Um, sweetie, it usually helps to put both legs in." Jen said turning towards him.
"Oh shut up." Howie kissed her and pulled his pants on.
"Did you know you’re a good kisser?" Jen said as he zipped up the back of her dress.
"Am I really?"
"Let’s check again and see…" Jen turned to him.
He pulled her head to his and kissed her with all he had inside that tiny little body. She kissed back with the same passion. "I think you are…"
"Well that makes me happy but we had better get out of here before its too late." Howie grabbed their coats and they headed off to the premiere.
"Howie this way! … Smile for the camera!" shouted photographers as the couple passed by. Up ahead were Kevin, Kristin and baby Grace.
"So this is her first real night out on the town?" Howie said giving Kristen a hug.
"You bet. She couldn’t miss her aunt on the big screen." Kristen winked at Jen who stood behind Howie leaning on his shoulder.
"Oh here comes Brian and Leighanne… Aw look at Tyke!" Jen cried. Tyke tagged along behind his ‘parents’.
"Hey Kev, Kris’, D., Jen." Leighanne said greeting them.
"Can I hold Grace please?" Brian said holding out his arms for his niece.
"Frick!" Nick cried running up the red carpet, followed by Erica.
"Hey Frack! I see Erica’s doing better. A.J. and Elise said they would try to be here but… you never know."
Brian and Nick hugged and the group continued down the row of photographers and autograph seekers. "WHAZ UP!" A.J. screamed coming down towards them with Elise on his arm.
"There he is." Brian whispered before even turning around. "Hey A.J. I heard you announced the good news today."
"Sure did… hey is that Entertainment Tonight? I think Elise and I will go say hello. Mwah! I love you all."
A.J. and Elise walked over to the stage where all the news shows were set up. "Hello all. I would like to introduce you to ‘Lise, my beautiful and extremely, talented, exciting, funny, lovely, sexy, … ugh," Elise elbowed him in the stomach. "Ok I’ll stop. In other words my wife."
The reporters began asking questions and the couple kindly and calmly answered. "Oh and for all you fans out there… This doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop my ah hem… dance routine." A.J. said before leaving the platform. Then he whispered silently to Elise, "I’ll just have you in mind." and kissed her.
After the premiere everyone headed out to dinner. "Leigh that was a great movie!" was one of the many compliments thrown around the table.
"Jen and I must get home, sorry to be the party pooper. I’ll see you all in two days." Howie said standing up to leave.
