"Brian, what should we bring to Nick’s party tomorrow?" She asked her husband of almost 3 years.
"Hey," Brian gave her a kiss; "We should bring um, how about a big dish of your delicious macaroni and cheese?"
"Ok fine that’ll do." Leigh sat down next to him and he wrapped his arm around her.
"Oh man! I just remembered we’re gonna be on tour on our anniversary!" Brian cried when the thought popped in his head.
"It’s ok Bri. We can still do something after the show. Don’t worry about it." Leigh reassured him. She leaned in to kiss him.
At that moment Tyke jumped in Brian’s lap and cried softly. "What’s wrong buddy?" Brian asked softly.
Tyke jumped off Brian’s lap and ran to the room Brian had set up for Litty and him. Brian and Leighanne slowly got up and followed. "I wonder what’s wrong?" Leighanne shrugged as they opened the door.
"PUPPIES!" Brian screamed when he looked down.
"They’re here!" Leigh and Brain danced around the room.
"One, Two, Three, Four, Five. Five puppies!" They counted.
"They are so adorable!"
"Can I call Nick? Please." Brian asked sounding like a little kid.
"Yes you may but don’t stay on too long." Leigh answered back in a motherly tone making fun of Brian.
"Yippee!" Brian cried not even noticing her joke and running to the phone.
Leigh had to bite her finger to keep from laughing at him.
"NICK! Oh sorry Erica can I talk to Nick? NICK! Litty had her puppies! They are so cute!" Leigh heard Brian scream.
When Brian returned he found Leighanne on the floor crying she was trying so hard not to laugh. "You are hilarious." She gasped.
"What did I do?" Brian asked confused.
Leighanne shook her head and tried to gain composure. "Nothing baby, nothing at all." She burst into a full-fledged fit of laughter.
"What’s so funny?" Brian asked receiving no answer besides another fit of laughter.
"Never mind I won’t ask." He said shaking his head and walking out of the room.
When Leighanne calmed down she walked around looking for him. She found him in his recording/dance studio practicing some new steps. "Bri I’m sorry it was just cute how excited you got. I bet when I have a kid you’ll pee your pants." She said as she walked in the room.
Brian smiled at her and gave her a kiss. "I forgive you… I think I would be able to make it to the bathroom though."
Brian flipped on his tape of only the background and the other guys’ parts. "Even the lover makes a mistake sometimes. Like any other fall out and loose his mind." He sang. "When this song’s over I’ll be done." He said to Leigh and blew her a kiss.
She caught it and put it in her pocket to save for later. When Brian was done he gave her a kiss. "Was it ok?"
"It was beautiful."
"It’s getting late let’s go to bed." Brian said and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Ok. Off to bed we go." Leigh joked and kissed him.
"Should we check on the dogs?" Brian asked halfway up the stairs.
"No leave them alone they need some peace and quiet." Leigh pulled him upstairs to their bed. "Don’t worry Tyke will keep an eye on everything."
"Ok I trust him." They changed and crawled into bed.
"I love you Leigh."
"I love you too Bri."
"Goodnight Leigh."
