The Name: Jason Biggs

The Basics: Born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

The Backstory: The man who would become famous for screwing an apple pie got his start in the biz as a child model. In 1993, at the age of 15, he made his Broadway debut opposite Judd Hirsch in the play, Conversations with My Father. In 1994, Biggs landed a recurring role as teen Pete Wendell on the CBS-TV soap, As the World Turns. In 1995, he earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for the role.
The Big Break: In 1999, he was cast in a little teen comedy called American Pie. The humping ensued. A star was born.

Career High Points: Have we mentioned the apple-pie thing already?

Career Low Points: Biggs followed up American Pie with Loser (2000), a box-office loser in which he wore a funny hat, and the un-romantic comedy, Saving Silverman (2001), in which he wore a Neil Diamond wig. He hoped to achieve big-screen redemption with (what else?) American Pie 2 (2001).

Notable Quotable: "I'm starting to get to do things like go to movie premieres and recently, someone over at Puma \[lifts his pant leg to reveal new sneakers\] gave me, like, eight pairs of shoes and clothes and a jacket! All these things are fun, but, you know, \[snaps his fingers\] it could be gone just like that." —Jason Biggs on the perks of stardom to Teen Celebrity

Et Cetera: He once auditioned for the role of Pacey on Dawson's Creek.
